I recently purchased a Toyota Sienna at Herb Chambers Toyota and the customer service was great and the prices are reasonable. Most dealerships make my feel very uncomfortable because the sales people ar Toyota and the customer service was great and the prices are reasonable. Most dealerships make my feel very uncomfortable because the sales people are very pushy but not here. Everyone at the dealership was so nice from the people I set my appointment with to the people out in service. I would definitly reccomend and return to this dealership. More

I purchased my 2004 Toyota Matrix from Herb Chambers Toyota of Auburn and absolutely love the car (I considered a trade in for a new Matrix, but was less than pleased with the customer service the secon Toyota of Auburn and absolutely love the car (I considered a trade in for a new Matrix, but was less than pleased with the customer service the second time around, I found the salesman to be rude and pushy). As far as the garage goes, I've always been a little on the fence when it came to prices for service, but the customer service in the garage has always been alright, so I stuck with them. Until now. I brought my car in to have the breaks inspected as the front end was squeaking. They quoted me $570 to replace the front rotors, shims and pads. They wanted another $95 to clean and adjust my rear breaks (and also came up with another $350 worth of "recommendations" for work on the car). I told them I just couldn't afford it and picked the car up the same day and brought it to my father's mechanic (Jon Shugrue of Whole Sale Auto Repair in Oxford, MA 508-987-2140). Not only did he inform me that the extra $350 worth of work was entirely unnecessary (and if I did want any of it done in the future, it would cost me about half of what they quoted), he did my front breaks (rotors, pads and shims) for $390 and did the rear breaks for nothing (he says that when doing the front breaks the rear are always checked and cleaned to ensure the whole system is working properly). So Jon was able to fix my breaks for $275 less than Toyota quoted. That's a pretty significant difference to me, and I'm surely done with anything involving Herb Chambers Toyota for good. As for Jon at Whole Sale Auto Repair, I'll pay him my hard earned money any day of the week, it's a shop full of friendly and honest guys who I'm proud to bring my car to. More
I have been shopping here since 1996. These guys are the best at what they do. It's nice to come in and have several different people say hello to me. We worked with Mike to lease 2 vehicles. We decided that the prices were not at a range we could afford so decided not to lease at this time. Both Mike and the manager came in the parking lot as we were leaving to offer a "new deal of the century" They quoted us rates that were significantly lower and asked us to come back in the morning. After faxing all of our information for approval of a lease, we came back the next day. After bringing our cars up front and having us test drive them, we were told that the quoted numbers from the day before were incorrect and tried to charge us more for the leases. This was clearly a planned deception with lying from management to have us come back to the dealership. We walked out without leasing the vehicles. More
I purchased a new Rav4 Lmtd picked it up on 11/13/07, I had ordered heated seats, remote car starter and a moon roof, when I purchased it on saturday 11/10/07 thery told me they could do the installations had ordered heated seats, remote car starter and a moon roof, when I purchased it on saturday 11/10/07 thery told me they could do the installations and I could pick up my car on 11/13 when I picked it up they told me they forgot to do the remote, that was fine anyone can make a mistake, when I went out to the car I found that they also did not do the heated seats or the moonroof, like I wouldn't notice?? I went back in and talked to the manager he said to me are you sure you ordered it!!! Talk about rude, I said look at the order and see sure enough it was on the order he said oh we will compensate you in some way for the inconvenience when I went back with the car on the 18th and picke dup the car again on the 19th no mention about the compensation (I would have been happy with a card for coffee but to have the comment made and then not have been followed thru on to me is a complete customer service deception!! I have worked in customer service my whole career and do not tolerate shoddy customer service, I ahve had a few friends that have commented they love my car and are interested in purchasing one I have stronly recommended they not go to Herb Chambers!! I got my vehicle two months after I purchased it. I received it with an empty tank, a broken windshield wiper, and 600 more miles than I was supposed to have. I signed a new contract for a lower monthly payment and found out (on my own) that it never went through after two months. I was then told they would make a payment for me for all the trouble. I had to wait 5 months and make several calls to their corporate office until it finally happened. They talked down to me, were very rude, did not help me at all, ignored all of my messages, and lied to me. I would not recommend this dealership to a single person. I have already turned 7 people away from buying a car from them. I will say, however, that there is one kind, helpful employee that works there. He is a blond man in the service department. More

this was a horrible buying experience. I wen to the dealership and clearly expressed that I needed a car a.s.a.p. I was told I would have my car the next day, but when I went to sign the papers I was dealership and clearly expressed that I needed a car a.s.a.p. I decided that I could wait, only to find out that I would be waiting for two weeks, which they didn't tell me until after I gave my down payment. It has now been over two weeks and I still have not received my car. I have missed work and school because of their horrible service and would NEVER reccommend buying from them More
