We picked up our 2010 Highlander today. I have to say that dealing with Joe Blake was one of the most pleasant experiences we have had at a dealership. Yes, there was a negotiation, of course, but we did that dealing with Joe Blake was one of the most pleasant experiences we have had at a dealership. Yes, there was a negotiation, of course, but we did not feel pressured or hurried to accept a deal. We were able to discuss our needs in a vehicle, including pricing, without feeling like we were being talked down to, which is a very positive trait. During the entire process, we dealt with Joe, our salesman, the sales manager, an internet sales rep., Regan, who was extremely helpful and friendly, and also the GM, who was also very friendly and even gave my 4 yr old a gift. All in all, it was actually a very enjoyable car buying experience. If I had to choose one negative aspect of our process there, it was dealing with the guy who finalized the signing of our lease paperwork, he was the only person there who pressured us to buy something we didn't want and made us feel stupid for not doing so. This Herb Chambers follows up and either give you a call or survey to ask if you received a good experience. I also, liked the fact that they gave you a free rental if your car needed to be serviced for a long time so that you would not have to wait around for your car to be finished. I am a loyal customer to the Toyota Corolla. Regardless of the recent issues with the Toyotas I still believe in the reputation over the years that this is a good, reliable, gas efficient car. I bought my 1st Toyota Corolla from Herb Chambers and I bought this Toyota Corolla (2nd Toyota Corolla) from a Herb Chambers. Herb Chambers and the Toyota Corolla has a friend in me. We purposely looked for Tim Dalton to help us at this dealership in our quest for a "used" vehicle because he had helped us previously while looking for a car. Mr. Dalton was very professional. His understanding and knowledge of used, new and leased cars guided us in our final decision to enter into a leased car agreement. A leased car was not even a consideration for us at this time; however, once a leased car entered into the mix, Mr. Dalton explained to us in terms we easily understood why perhaps this would be an excellent option. He related to us his positive experience of leasing a vehicle himself - one that he did purchase at the end of the lease. In addition, he explained the laws governing car lease agreements within the State of Massachusetts. After much thought and consideration, we decided to lease a new Toyota RAV4 instead of purchasing a used vehicle. Everything about the lease made sense for us at this time in our lives. We therefore, picked out the vehicle and advised Tim we would come back the next day to sign the lease documents.
