I brought my '06 RX 400 in for a standard service and it was discoverd that I needed a very expensive repair done on my rear "knuckles". With only 36k mileage, the warranty would have covered this but for was discoverd that I needed a very expensive repair done on my rear "knuckles". With only 36k mileage, the warranty would have covered this but for the age it was technically out of warranty. The dealership management (Kristen Keough) found a way to make an exception for me. This we extremely appreciated and well outside of what most dealers would provide. In addition, I had the use of a new RX 300 for over a week as this process was being approved and the work done. I can't recommend this dealer more strongly. More

I have had both of our Lexus’s serviced at your dealership many times, and have always left your dealership happy and looking forward to my next visit. While I feel that most dealerships can easily satisfy customer’s requests for scheduled service, a true test of a dealerships commitment to the customer comes when service is needed is needed promptly and without warning. I had been experiencing low tire pressure in my 2002 Lexus ES300’s rear right tire for about a week, and after filling the tire with air and having it slowly leak out I called ****** Lexus of *******. ***** is located just ten minutes from my house, and I had a tire plugged there two years prior for $25.00. While I have had service problems with ***** in the past (the main reason I started coming to Herb Chambers) I figured that the since they had done well with plugging a tire in the past they could do it again. I called and had a same day appointment at 3PM for the tire to be plugged at the same price it was two years ago. When I arrived at the dealership the car was taken to a service bay and I went walking around ******’s facility. An hour and five minutes later I received a call that they had located a screw jammed in the tire causing the leak. At that time they informed me that even though the tire could be plugged they no longer offered that service, and that the appointment coordinator who told me they could was misinformed. They offered to patch the tire for the low cost of $70.00, and said that plugging tires was unsafe and that most dealerships had stopped that practice. I then called an independent shop who said that the practice was still very common and that it was very safe. I then returned to the dealership to pick up my car. I left the dealership with the spare tire on the rim which they installed for no charge. It was 4:30PM. I then immediately called Herb Chambers and spoke to Wes who assured me that tire plugs were indeed safe and that Herb Chambers could plug the tire for the price that ****** had promised. I asked what the earliest appointment available on Thursday morning would be and was very impressed when Wes offered an appointment at 5:30 that night saying the issue deserved an immediate appointment. I was very impressed and grateful that I was invited to come in for a very late appointment at essentially no notice to your staff. I went directly from ****** to Herb Chambers, and as always on arrival was greeted by a friendly valet. Within thirty seconds of pulling into the service drive Bill Henrique, who I requested after learning that Kristen Keough had left for the day, came out of his office and greeted me by name. He was completely filled in on my situation and did not ask to see a proof of price from ******. He simply told me to go relax in the lounge and told the valets to bring the car back immediately. Forty minutes later I was back on the road with the tire plugged and back on the car (with a wash and vacuum). I was especially impressed with the no nonsense superb costumer service I received Wednesday. There was no hesitation when it came to the offer of bringing the car in late that day or matching the un-met price from ******. Bill was friendly when he greeted me by name and did not even require a visit to his office. Everyone at your dealership from the Technicians in the back to the Valets out front should feel proud to work at such a customer service oriented dealership. P.S It goes without saying that the dealership was in immaculate condition. More
Buying a car is only the beginning. Scott Higgins has been our service consultant for a number of years. He makes our maintenance visits a joy. He goes out of his way to solve the very few problems that been our service consultant for a number of years. He makes our maintenance visits a joy. He goes out of his way to solve the very few problems that arise. He is thoughtful, communicates well, is dependable and does everything for us that a service manager should do. He represents an excellent service department in a truly outstanding manner. Scott Higgins is especially important since a car is purchased only once but is serviced multiple times!!!!! I made an appointment with Frank Cardinelli on Dec. 15th to have my SUV serviced as there was a warning light on my dash and I wanted it taken care of before the holidays. I went upstairs to have a cup of coffee and proceded into the showroom. What a pretty sight with all the white cars with red bows on top. There were two red suvs that really caught my eye. Mr. Williams approached me and we talked for awhile. He showed me all the new features that the 2011 had to offer. I was very much impressed by his manner and his knowledge of everything that I asked him about the new SUVs. Little did I know that I was going to be driving my xmas present home that night. When I decided to buy the SUV Mr. williams proceded to have the car ready with the transfer of plates, siminizing etc. He met me at that door the next morning to have the shield put on and sat with me most of the day explainning how to use the new toys in the car. Thank you Mr. Williams . I feel that if I need to know anything about my new SUV Mr. William would be there for me. Thank you Lexus. I would never buy another Vehicle other than a Lexus More
I was extremely disappointed in the way my problem with 2002 Lexus RX300 was handled. I bought this car from this dealership and with 99,000 it starting smoking upon start up. I brought the car in for evaluation after reading about the recall for sludge engines with this model. The recall was for unlimited miles and 8 years and 120 days. By the time I had brought the car in, I had owned it for 8 years 140 days. The "Official" diagnosis was that the sludge engine had nothing to do with the valve seals malfunctioning. I live 45 minutes from the dealership so after the warranty expired, I went to local shops to keep the car maintained. I provided copy of receipts of BETTER than owners manual recommended oil change maintenance. After having my car for 19 days with my calling the dealer 12 times with only 6 call backs,(3 after I told them to get my car ready for me to pick up)the best offer I had was to Split the cost of the repair. My 1/2 was to be $2300.00. I had it quoted a local repair shop and their price was 1/2 of my half. They worst part of the whole deal was i was told if I would continued to bring it them they would have "taken care of it". The bottom line is they don't stand behind the product they sell.I asked them to give me a quote on my trading my car in on a new car but after waiting 10 days with no response,that only after telling them I was done with them did I get a quote. They offered me a generous deal on a new car but I was so feed up with the service I just wanted my car back and be done with them. If I buy another Lexus ( I own 2 ) it won't be from this dealership. More

I hate the car buying experience. But my experience at Herb Chambers Lexus was the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Nathan Shorey (salesman) was great. Pricing was excellent and all options explained to me. I was shocked when he said go home and get your title and we will have the car ready when you get back. They took care of the registration and all paper work that day. When I returned, the car was ready and I drove off. Service appointments have been very easy. They ask when I want an appointment, and thats when it is. The service representatives are also very friendy and knowledgable. Work is always done quickly and the car returned washed and cleaned. I certainly would recommend this dealership and salesman to all my family and friends. I will not hesitate to return for my next car when the time arrives. More
