Excellent service! Rich MacMillan was very attentive to my needs and got my car in and out of the shop in a timely fashion. I really appreciate the fact that the whole staff recognizes how valuable my time my needs and got my car in and out of the shop in a timely fashion. I have become very disappointed with this dealership when I went in to purchase a used Toyota they had on their lot. They would not give me KBB for my trade or even close to it, they work with Galves, who's I went in to purchase a used Toyota they had on their lot. They would not give me KBB for my trade or even close to it, they work with Galves, who's trade-in value is significantly lower than KBB or Nada, and Galves is dealerships only so you would never be able to find out how much your car was worth with them - and also they offer to value your trade on their website using KBB, but they won't give it to you! They put $500 more onto the Galves price and said that was the best they could do. They then suggested that I call some Toyota dealerships to see what they would give me for my car. I spent over an hour waiting for this answer one night in their showroom, to more or less be turned away. I called the sales manager the next day and he said "I have people at my desk I'll have to call you back" He took my phone number only when I asked if he wanted it. I never got a phone call back. The used vehicle wasn't even in pristine condition, the brakes were low and the tail light lens needed to be replaced. I went to a Toyota Dealership the next day and not only did they give me excellent customer service, but they also gave me $2000 more for my trade and the vehicle I bought was certified with a 100k factory warranty and it had over 20k less miles than the one they were offering at Lexus. If I ever get the opportunity to buy a Lexus... I'll probably head to Watertown. Thanks. More
I communicated with this dealership along with several others regarding the purchase of the RX350. Over several emails they communicated to me they would offer me the best deal I would be able to find be others regarding the purchase of the RX350. Over several emails they communicated to me they would offer me the best deal I would be able to find because of the size of the dealership but never did give me a quote. I received a quote from another dealer that I thought was more then reasonable and was going to follow through on the purchase. I contacted this dealer one more time and told them that I received a offer and if they could beat the price by a reasonable amount I would purchase from them. Michael Fahn stated he would absolutely beat the price and told me to come to the dealership. Which I did. Upon arrival they kept me waiting for at least 15 minutes after which they came back with a offer that was 3000 more then what was discussed in the email. For them to waste my time and to blatantly lie is what gives the car sales business a bad name. They are dishonest and will lie to get you in the door completely disrespecting your time. Other dealerships I dealt with in my purchase process were true to their word in the price they quoted when I arrived. Unlike these a**holes. More
They acted friendly enough on the sales efforts, but then took forever to deliver the car. The sales rep spent a lot of time showing me the Lexus customer satisfaction survey. He told me that I had to r took forever to deliver the car. The sales rep spent a lot of time showing me the Lexus customer satisfaction survey. He told me that I had to rate him "truly outstanding" or else he would lose his job! When I brought in the car for its first 1,000 mile servicing, they dented and scratched the vehicle. They said it would take a week to fix. They need to pound out the dents and repaint a section. That's terrible for a new car! I regreat buying a car from this dealership. More
I have had more than my fair share of car shopping nightmares. I think we have all been there a few times. But now I think I have experienced the most relaxed, informative, and easy car purchase eve nightmares. I think we have all been there a few times. But now I think I have experienced the most relaxed, informative, and easy car purchase ever! I gave the rating I did because of the following...It all started a few days back when I had finally decided the bloody shopping had to start sometime, so surfing for a car I went. Found one I fell in love as soon as I saw the pictures online. I am now driving a Lexus from Herb Chambers in Sharon and couldnt of asked for a better experience. You should stop in just to take a tour of the place, WOW what $30 million looks like in stone and glass, not to mention plasma TV's in places you wouldnt expect. More
My experience with Herb Chambers Lexus I went to this dealership to buy a hybrid, I was surprised to get there and find out they didn't have one, Oh yeah they did have a used rx hybrid I wanted new. They dealership to buy a hybrid, I was surprised to get there and find out they didn't have one, Oh yeah they did have a used rx hybrid I wanted new. They wasted several hours of my day, only to have to meet with a useless and pompous sales manager. The only saving grace for this dealership was the sales person who worked with us. I went to Watertown Lexus I reccommend you do the same! More
I had the unfortunate opportunity to have my paperwork done by a MR. Al Brown. This man did all of my paperwork but conveniently forgot to tell me that the title for my car was not at the dealer. How ca done by a MR. Al Brown. This man did all of my paperwork but conveniently forgot to tell me that the title for my car was not at the dealer. How can you have a car on the lot without a title? I then had to wait 3 weeks for the title to arrive. Al Brown should not have anything to do with customer service he lacks people skills. MR. Brown is a very cold man and if it were up to him alone I would have taken my buisness elsewhere. When you have a business and you are trying to sell a product, please be nice to your customers. I purchased a 2000 vehicle, MR. Brown stated a few times, "Oh this is an old car, this car is old, well its an old car." First of all it was a 2000, second of all if it is so old then why are you selling it. It is a few years old but is still a lexus and is still expensive. For all future buyers please avoid Al brown he made my experience at the lexus of norwood terrible. Why is he still employed there? More
My wife and I were shopping for a new car and we stopped by Norwood Lexus by chance. The first sales rep we dealt with left the company after a few days but that seems to be common in this business. Our dea by Norwood Lexus by chance. The first sales rep we dealt with left the company after a few days but that seems to be common in this business. Our deal was assigned to Spero who has been with Herb Chambers for 12 years. My wife and I could not be happier with the experience and Spero is the best. Oh yea, we got a great deal also. In a few days they are moving into a $30 million dollar facility which should be great. If you are buying a Lexus you have to try Lexus of Norwood. More
Just to follow up on the our previous post (better late than never), we finally did get our vehicle a couple of days after my post. As promised, it was a terrific price and included several hundred dollar than never), we finally did get our vehicle a couple of days after my post. As promised, it was a terrific price and included several hundred dollars worth of free options, their way of saying "Sorry for the screwups." So I've revised my recommendation to a YES, but only under the following conditions: (1) you don't mind "pushy" sales people, and (2) you have lots of time and patience. If you can handle these caveats, the price is absolutely hands-down awesome. More
The first day went smoothly, we agreed to a very good price and they said our car would arrive in 3 days. We were happy. But that was over 2 weeks ago. During these agonizing 2.5 weeks, the folks at N price and they said our car would arrive in 3 days. We were happy. But that was over 2 weeks ago. During these agonizing 2.5 weeks, the folks at Norwood Lexus tag-teamed through different representatives, each one promising a delivery date "in 2 or 3 days" and failing to deliver each time. Yesterday, we got a verbal guarantee from the manager of Norwood Lexus and went to pick up our vehicle, only to discover that it had the wrong options, and now we have to wait another "2 or 3 days". The good news is that they've been very nice about it, and promised to include more options at no cost, as a gesture of apology. But we're still waiting and wondering if we're ever going to get this wonderful vehicle at all. I'm still amazed at the fact that they tried giving us a vehicle with the wrong options. I've never seen that before in a professional car dealership. More
