The only reason I rate Herb Chambers with 5's is because Danny Blinn is a 7 on a scale of 1 to 5. He used to manage my service at Lexus of Northborough, but I lost track of him when he left that dealer. I finally found him through a Google search and reconnected with him at Herb Chambers. I now live in New Canaan, Connecticut, a three hour drive from Herb Chambers of Sharon. But Danny is worth the trip . . . treat him well because he will retain customers for you as he has me. Rocco and Alex were wonderful to work with and "made things right" with a less than right car. The 3 star rating is for the quality of work. I had a failed headlight within a week, a fuel pump withi things right" with a less than right car. The 3 star rating is for the quality of work. I had a failed headlight within a week, a fuel pump within the first month, and made three attempts to pick up a car that had not been cleaned adequately exterior and interior. (I found the pictures of the car I traded in.. and they did an amazing job with that car - fixing small scratches/dents; the car looked new.. so I'm not sure of the disconnect) Some of the issues came from the Venture shield, I had a bubble on the front bumper within a week and recently had the hood shield replaced since there were scuff marks. I realize these issues are not common for most Lexus owners and is the reason I went with this brand, however this did detract from my overall experience (including the new experience of having the car towed when the fuel pump died). Alex was wonderful during the entire sales process, explaining the technology, and was very kind to deliver the car to me at work in Cambridge(twice!). Everything that Rocco did, as far as communication, professionalism, and just in general trying to fix this situation was 5 stars plus. I also interacted with Scott for a Venture shield issue and John who followed up to make sure my issues were addressed. As nice as the dealership is to feed me breakfast, lunch, coffee, water, or ice cream on visits and to just walk around on the shiny marble floors.. I'm hopeful that I will not need to visit for anything other than a handwash for the next six months! More

I started going here expecting to be over paying for service I could easily get somewhere else and to constantly be talked into paying more money for unnecessary expenses. Also, we had a great experience with Joe Bere, who coincidentally sold my husband his lexus four years ago. Both Joe and Omar were great to deal with and my husband will be leasing his new car from this dealership as soon as the 2014 G series are available. More
This purchase is our first experience with Lexus and a Herb Chambers dealership. We were very impressed with the sales staff, but was even more impressed that the friendly, knowledgable, professional and Herb Chambers dealership. We were very impressed with the sales staff, but was even more impressed that the friendly, knowledgable, professional and courteous service and attention that we experienced in the sales department, flows smoothly into the service department. We believe that is where these qualities are most important. Once the vehicle is purchased, the owner will be at the mercy of the service department. We saw all those wonderful awards for great service on display and wondered if they were just props or if they were actually earned. We were having motion sensors installed per our sales agreement. Danny Blinn would be our first experience with Lexus and Herb Chambers service department. Danny welcomed us just like we were long lost friends. He was interested in us, as "friends" as we'll as customers. Since we were NOT there for problems, we discussed our purchase experiences, why we select a Lexus etc. He gave us a complete history about Lexus in general and Herb Chambers of Lexus in particular. He told us what to expect from the manufacturer and all Lexus Dealerships. Since we had owned our new Lexus for only a couple of days, we had several questions. He answered everyone, without hesitation. Danny proved to us that He knew his product in and out. He took the time to explain everything to us and left us extremely satisfied and sure that we made the right decision about our purchase. The installation process took around two days. Danny provided us with a loaner car, called us with updates on how it was progressing along and had them fix a few small details we asked about. We arrived when the work was done and our car was sparkling clean, ready and waiting for us. Danny Blinn did what he said he would do, and then, when we picked the car up, he said what he did. He is a true professional and an asset to your dealership. With employees like him, we now understand and believe that all those awards on display are truly earned.
