I went to Herb Chambers Kia in Burlington to drop my 2022 Kia Stinger off for it's first service. I pulled into the dealerships service entrance at 5:45pm on a Thursday to drop the car off - and as soon as I Kia Stinger off for it's first service. I pulled into the dealerships service entrance at 5:45pm on a Thursday to drop the car off - and as soon as I climbed out of the car, the person at the counter makes a gesture like "you were supposed to come at 5, what the xxxx?". I didn't know what that meant so i walked in and told him that i was just dropping off my car and not to get anything done right away. That is when the person grew a courteous bone and spoke to me as a normal human. I handed him the paperwork that said that i had a complimentary first service from Kia - he took that and all my details and checked my car in. He said he would call as soon as the car was ready. I called the dealership Saturday at 11am to check if the car was ready and it was - but no one called to tell me. So i go on to pick it up, and there i am handed a bill for 100 bucks for the oil change and multi point inspection. I had to explain to the same person who checked me in that this was a complimentary first service - which is when he and the person at the billing section talked and amended the paperwork and i went my way. So to sum it all up, the person at the counter was rude to me before I walked in, not attentive enough to ensure all the paperwork was in order and then negligent to not call me when the car was ready. my expectations weren't sky high or anything - but even normal was a reach here. So i would definitely think twice before going back there. More
