Was in for a recall and service minder oil change and tire r Upon my arrival I was greeted and assigned a service agent. After reviewing my service requests, I was given the option of shuttle service or waiting. Upon my arrival I was greeted and assigned a service agent. After reviewing my service requests, I was given the option of shuttle service or waiting. I opted to wait after learning the work would take roughly 2 hours. The waiting area was comfortable with drink and snack options. I was pleasantly surprised when I was informed my vehicle was ready after an hour. I was given a voucher for a car wash down the street. I was somewhat disappointed to learn that I could not get my navigation maps updated, I needed to do this on my own. For the amount I paid for the vehicle map updates are not an unreasonable request. Overall I would recommend the service department to others. More

One of the advisers, who knew me, greeted me when I came in, and I only had to wait a few minutes. The new place is surprisingly easy to get to from where I live, but it's best to make an appointment for mid-morning, since the Southeast Expressway traffic can be brutal on both sides. It was worth going to. More

Great service Teresa took care of me, she always does a terrific job! My car was ready ahead of the time promised. The one thing that did come up was that I didn’t realize that doing a software update would also require the oil to be changed. However, after talking further with Teresa about it, she did a great job explaining everything including prorating my next oil change service accordingly. Although this is unrelated to the service, I would like to express my displeasure with Herb Chambers moving to a new Dorchester location. This will be very inconvenient for us, and will require us thinking about where to service our car on and on going basis. I realize business is business, but I have a difficult time believing that this relocation will be a positive move for the many, many customers he has in the Brookline/ Newton/ Brighton area. He has been in this location for as many years as I can remember. More
