Key to their sales effort: once sales manager discerned the type of buyer I was and the reality of other market prices, realized a deal could be had, they agreed to a deal very close to my price. If you do your homework and can demonstrate effectively how you got there and justify your price, you will be satisfied. Of course you should never expect to leave the dealer without any profit fpr themselves. These guys "got it" and made my purchase painless, and when I am in the market for a Honda product again, will buy from them. More

Steven accepted a fair buy back price (Kelly Blue Book) for my used vehicle which I traded in towards my new 2009 Honda Accord Coupe. The deal price for the 2009 Honda Accord Coupe was fair. The transition from signing the paperwork to obtaining the vehicle with registration, plates, inspection could have been faster but Steven and his manager were able to compensate me for the minor delay. I know things don't always go according to plan but its important that the customer comes first and Herb Chambers of Allston, MA understands this principle. At this point the only open item is my check for my trade in. I expect this to be delivered in the next few weeks. Overall the car buying experience at this dealership was very enjoyable. As a side note, it's a 40 mile drive for me to get to Herb Chamber's Honda of Boston, and I pass plenty of car dealerships with plenty of good deals along the way.
