my son and daughter came in to the dealership and weren't treated very nice by a sales manager named bob miller. they felt pressured and disrespected. so my wife called the next day and spoke to the general treated very nice by a sales manager named bob miller. they felt pressured and disrespected. so my wife called the next day and spoke to the general sales manager bill v. bill v took the time to talk to my wife and also apologised to my daughter when the incident occured. bill told us this is not the way herb chambers does business. i wanted to go purchase the car somewhere else but after talking to bill on the phone i truly believed that he really had my families best interest at heart. he worked out a price for me on my daughters civic and i told him i'd be in on thursday. when i got there everything bill told me on the phone was true. i do understand that people have bad days but that should not be the customers problem. if it weren't for bill and john i probably would have bought a car somewhere else. they were very kind to us and i appreciate them going above and beyond to earn our business and keep us in the herb chambers family. i will reccomend this dealership because of bill and john. More

Salesman and General Sales Manager worked with me to find the Honda model and monthly lease payment that met my budget. Beautiful showroom. I worked primarily with Eli. I went in needing a used car before the winter months hit. Eli was warm, friendly, honest and respectful. He listened to me and understood exactly what I needed. He gave me room and time to think about my decision without putting pressure. He and his team worked with me on price and made sure that my new car was in top shape before I set out the door. Furthermore, they took care of title, registration, and all those things that make car buying a headache. I purchased my last new car from Herb Chambers Honda back in 1998. That Civic was getting old and I and decided to get a new one about a week ago. Sales person Sammy was warm and friendly greeting me at the door and providing me with the necessary info I needed to decide on whether or not to buy a new or pre-owned car. He initated the process and then handed off to Finance Manager, Sosa. I found Sosa to be engaging, caring and sensitive to my financial situation. He was reassuring, helpful and was able to work with me through the completion of the purchase of my 2010 Honda Sports FIT. Off to service I was sent to have the car prepared for me to take it home. Dawn in Service did an awesome job working with me to get the car processed and the items I wanted put in my new car. We had a few challenges along the way, but Dawn did an excellent job getting the car to me in a reasonable time frame. She was an active listener and empathetic to my concerns. Dealing with the RMV is no picinic these days, but she handled the questions and concerns I had easily and very professionally. Lastly, Sammy, had one of the Managers make a follow up phone allto me today to make sure that I had the registration issue satisfactorily addressed and resolved. which it was. Although Sammy is new to car sales, his effort and caring made up for his newness to the sales position. I wanted everyone to know that I had a great experience at Honda and appreciate the help I received in all faucets of the process - sales, finance and service. Thansk again. More

My credit is not the greatest as I had a Chapter 7 discharge on 3/1/2010. I decided to go to Herb Chambers as my last purchase was a pleasant experience and they deal with sub-prime lenders. The only person that treated me fairly was my salesperson Alex O. I had been trying to get financing to purchase a leftover 2010 Honda Accord EX. They had one with a special price of $19,987. This car had been sitting on their lot since 8/2009. They had the car in the showroom with a price tag of $20,499 which differed from the price on the Internet. They will probably say this is an Internet price. Next we got to my trade which was purchased new from them. They told me that when I bought my car that they had cash incentives. What does this have to do with the TMV now. They started out at $12,800 for my 2010 Civic LXS and ended at a price of $13,399 only if I purchased LoJack too. I waited to go into finance to seal the deal and I said to myself "This is crazy". Why would I want to purchase a vehicle from someone aimed at taking advantage of you. I walked out and called Colonial Honda in Dartmouth MA. They were excellent. I didn't have 10 salesmen waiting to pounce on me as I entered the door. I purchased a brand new 2011 Accord LX-P for $19,000 and got $14,000 for my trade. They treated me as an intelligent consumer and with respect. I will never go to Herb Chambers again, nor send anyone there. Beware of Bill the sales manager that is an ex state trooper. Go see a low key dealer like Colonial Honda that wants to be fair and sell cars. More

Leo Rezil is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. While these are characteristics that buyers expect from sales people, Mr. Rezil went beyond what I had expected in terms of service. Fortunately, Mr. Rezil offered to go through the car I was trading in after I had cleared out my belongings since he found several items that I had missed including my Fast Lane transponder. By the time I finished meeting with the business manager, Mr. Rezil had already transferred my things that had been sitting in his office into the new (used) car which I appreciated very much. In addition, when I brought back the car to be inspected and simonized, Mr. Rezil offered to drive it back to my home so that I would not have to wait for the two hours it would take to get the work completed. Mr. Rezil's thoughtfulness helped to make the car purchase process much easier. More
I came to this dealership after a being told by another Honda dealer that I could not get the car I wanted (CR-V) at the price I wanted. The manager at this other dealership sat down and "gave me a lesson Honda dealer that I could not get the car I wanted (CR-V) at the price I wanted. The manager at this other dealership sat down and "gave me a lesson" about car financing. I went to Herb Chambers after seeing an ad in the paper, and told Chris what I was looking for, my budget, and what happened at the prior dealer. He told me he'd look into what could be done, and called the next day offering an appointment. Chris had Alex ready to meet with me when I walked in the door. Alex and I did have a bit of a rocky start, but after Billy V. stepped in and saved the deal (more on this later), Alex was fabulous. (Thank you for not letting me give up on getting the 4 WD!) I was anxious to take delivery of the car without the auto start being installed. Alex called to make sure the company doing the work contacted me, called again to check that the appointment got made, and called again to make sure the work was done. He also called twice in the first two weeks to make sure all was good with the car! Back to Billy V. Wonderful, amazing, and real are not words typically associated with car salesmen, but he was all of the above. He didn't just sit and listen politely and then try to make the sale HE wanted to make. He heard me, what I wanted, where I was coming from, what I could live with compromising on and what I couldn't. Then he went to work! He came up with a few different financing options on different trims. The whole time it really felt like he wanted me to end up with the car that was right for me -- not for him, the customer at the next desk, his boss or whomever. It made such a difference. I'm not sure the deal I ended up with was all that much better than what I was first offered elsewhere; but I will absolutely go back to Herb Chambers when I need my next car. Nothing beats being treated like you matter! More
