I have purchased a 2000 Honda Civic (new), and a 2007 Honda Pilot (used). I have nothing but good things to say about this dealer. I was extremely happy when I picked up my Pilot after an oil change service. Not only was the oil changed, but the car was vaccuumed (front and back) and the vinyl was even wiped down. I also received a print out with information pertaining to the remaining life of my tires, and brake pads. I think it is easy to make a good impression on the showroom for a potential customer, but to do the same for service customers means a lot more. Anthony, Alex, and Liz have been great to deal with. I even received a follow up call to make sure everything was OK. My next car purchase will definitely be from this dealership. More
It was my first experience of buying a car in a dealership and for that reason I've been extremally alert and suspicious. First impression was rather negative. I thought the guys are playing a game: for a short period of time they were insisting on suggestion for me to buy a car I did not want then they gave a very good price for my Honda Fit Sport but very bad loan. I can not tell if it was a real game and assume I was wrong in my suspects as after I found a good auto loan myself the overall price for my car evaluated to something rather excellent and overall my impression of the guys improved greatly especially on the final stage: the processing was fast, the car is in excellent condition, Raul Mendez, the dealer who sold me the car is *very* friendly, respectful and helpful. Did I get the best deal? This instance was no different but Eli stuck with me through the whole process and put all my normal hesitancy and fears to rest. We called Keva Williams, gave her the type, model, and color of the car we wanted. Later she called and said the vehicle was available. We then head to Herb Chambers Honda to meet with Keva Williams. When greeted by Keva Williams it was a relief and there we knew we would be taken care of 100 percent. Keva Williams gave more than 100 percent. She was very professional in all areas and answered our questions with no hesitation. Her customer service was very outstanding above and beyond. We felt at ease and we didn't feel any pressure or stress in any way. We were so happy that Keva made us feel this way. Once all is set and done, we purchase the Honda Civic that night. If it wasn't for Keva for her outstanding service and attitude, purchasing a car is a nightmare with stress along with it. We are a couple who were planning on buying our first new car and had been referred to this dealership. Lets start to say....We had a horrible experience at this dealership. We went to this dealership with a mind set to buy a car if we get a good deal for the car and the accessories we were looking for, however, nothing like that happened. We got greeted at the front door by a Sales Associate named Jonathan P. and ask what we were looking for today.. We explained that we already knew we would like to buy a CR-V. He took us in to the showroom over to his desk. Ask us if we would like to take a look at the CR-V maybe even test drive one. We told him that we for sure wanted to look at the car... He took our names and addresses.. phone numbers as well has the model and color we had told him we had already decided on... He than explained to us about Cert. Pre-owned cars... which we at that point told him, we where not necessarily that interested in.. He than took us to CR-V model right behind his desk and explained all the features, safety features, etc. to us... right after that the pushing for the sale started. He kept telling us that there are only limited cars available due to the happenings in Japan.. which we already new.. he explained the price.. were we ask if he maybe able to come down with the price.. or what other options there are for us.. we explained that we had done some research before hand and gave him a figure, which at that point he completely lost, in our opinion, his tamper and told us we are waisting his and the companies time.. and costing the company $50-60/hr if we do not sign a deal right now... We ask him to give us a figure that we would be able to work with and be happy with and he kept pushing and pushing for us to sign a purchasing contract without even asking of what else we where looking to have installed for the car.... We told him that we did not appreciate his pushing.. and would like some time to think about this, as it is our first big purchase.. but he did choose not to listen to us.. telling us that we are not serious in buying a car today.. and again waisting his time... however, he would gladly shake our hand if we would walk away at some other dealer with a good price on the car... As he got so frustrated he had the SM come over to speak to us and we explained the situating.. however, did not even get to bring up half the things that Jonathan had said to us.. The SM was very nice and said that we could work with him if we decided to.. however, for us first impressions count.. and we would have quite happily paid a little more for a car.. if we would have felt that we would get great customer service after... which we absolutely did not that this dealership. We are all for giving people second changes, however, we both come from the service industry as well and we do not agree with Jonathan's sales strategies.. and again sometimes first impressions are the once that count the most... which was the case here... We went off to another dealer.. straight from there.. got great customer service, felt taken care of and bought our first new car... not even two hour after we left Herb Chambers. More
