Here is a wonderful ending to a long story: I leased an Odyssey from Herb Chambers three years ago and I have not been very happy with the way I've been treated since. My credit rating took a beating during the depression. So no one paid attention to me. No one returned phone calls. I was a lonely nobody. Then I met Paul Jackson and everything turned around. I have honestly never seen a man work so hard at making sure I got what I wanted with the terms I wanted. My credit had been excellent before the recent depression but the banks don't always recognize that fact (even though they are what caused most of the problem). Paul Jackson and the finance manager he worked with, Jason Bradley, hammered away at the various banks, suggesting arrangement after arrangement--or whatever it is they do--until together they made the sale work for me. All of this was concluded today. And the best part of it is, the deal is on my terms! Jason and Paul worked miracles. I can't believe it! Every snafu along the way got smoothed over because these two just refused to give up. I watched them work. It was intense. And these are days when, as we all know, it's hard to get a salesperson even to return your phone call unless your credit is what it was before the depression or you've got lots of cash. They believed in me. I feel good about myself again. This depression has taken its toll on my pride. I was in near constant contact with Paul via his cell phone for the two weeks while he worked on getting my car for me. I didn't even have to wait on hold and listen to noisy ads. That in itself impressed me. So I'm happy. As you can tell. More
I have always been leery of large car dealers but my experience at Herb Chamber Honda of Boston -- and in particular, salesman Mark DiPaolo II -- was exceptional. Everyone I worked with was very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. When I became concerned about the expense I was about to take on, they immediately began working with me so that I would answer any questions I had. Jason did a good job of explaining the optional coverages to me and making sure I ordered what was best for me. The most impressive part of my experience, however, came from 2 gentlemen, Eric Wong and Paul Jackson. These 2 guys had to drive to Rhode Island to register my car. They had never been to Rhode Island to do this and were completely raw but at no point did they want to give up until they had the car registered and ready to deliver to me. Paul was stuck inside the DMV for about 3 hours. And I can tell you from experience, the DMV is not the most fun place to spend your afternoon. While Paul was in the building, likely suffering on the inside but with a smile on the outside, Eric Wong was left outside with someone whom he had never met before, me. Eric was very friendly and conversed with me and my brother while we waited for Paul, he showed me parts of the Ridgeline so that I would be familiar with it. I'm sure it was difficult situation for the 2 of them having to be in state that they were not familiar with registering procedure all the while wanting to make sure that the customer they were helping (not their customer, by the way) was happy and would not be upset over having to wait outside teh DMV for 3 hours. When everything was finally done and the car was registered, they even paid for my supper at local hot weiner place in Providence! These 2 gentlemen should be commended for their commitment to their work and to the customer. It was clear to me that customer satisfaction was their top priority in what was otherwise a difficult situation for both of them and they performed exceptionally! This is the type of customer service that separates Herb Chambers from the comptetion. Kudos to you and your staff! More

I am grateful that she took to heart my set of car purchase needs enabling me to own a car that is a pleasure to drive with nice luxuries. Truth be told, people still can't believe I bought a used car and that my car payment is so reasonable. Herb Chamber's Honda has a nice atmosphere with a staff that is pleasant. More

It was a pleasure working with Paul Jackson. He's a comedic fellow, in a delightful, genuine way. In discussing the final numbers, I was passed to two to three different sales/managers, and although that experience wasn't particularly great, I decided to come back to Paul to negotiate. I have purchased a 2000 Honda Civic (new), and a 2007 Honda Pilot (used). I have nothing but good things to say about this dealer. I was extremely happy when I picked up my Pilot after an oil change service. Not only was the oil changed, but the car was vaccuumed (front and back) and the vinyl was even wiped down. I also received a print out with information pertaining to the remaining life of my tires, and brake pads. I think it is easy to make a good impression on the showroom for a potential customer, but to do the same for service customers means a lot more. Anthony, Alex, and Liz have been great to deal with. I even received a follow up call to make sure everything was OK. My next car purchase will definitely be from this dealership. More
It was my first experience of buying a car in a dealership and for that reason I've been extremally alert and suspicious. First impression was rather negative. I thought the guys are playing a game: for a short period of time they were insisting on suggestion for me to buy a car I did not want then they gave a very good price for my Honda Fit Sport but very bad loan. I can not tell if it was a real game and assume I was wrong in my suspects as after I found a good auto loan myself the overall price for my car evaluated to something rather excellent and overall my impression of the guys improved greatly especially on the final stage: the processing was fast, the car is in excellent condition, Raul Mendez, the dealer who sold me the car is *very* friendly, respectful and helpful.
