Came in for an experss oil change without an appointment and was taken in right away. I was given an approximate time and when I was told I needed an air filter in addition to the standard oil change I was and was taken in right away. When it fails I not only lose my transportation but also a place to live. I presented myself at 7:30 am with my vehicle that had shut down unexpectedly the following day -Sunday. The service manager himself came to my van and listened to the story of the failure and asked questions to be sure he had all the facts. After typing up the work order he advised that he would try to have my van in the hands of the mechanic within the hour even though I did not have an appointment. This was done and in no time I was told the van had bad fuel injectors and would have to be ordered from Detroit. This could take 3 days or so to get them in and installed. I shared with him we were living in the van and the 3 day estimate would really create trouble for us. He made some calls and said he would have the parts overnighted, which they were. By 2:30pm the following day we were on our way headed to Canada. Not only did this dealership and especially this person, Bill Roust meet my expectation they far exceeded it. All of this work was covered by warranty, I paid nothing. More
I went to Herb Chambers for an oil change/service on my Challenger. I had enrolled in the free oil change program,so it was free. I got in right away, waited about 45 min. When I deal with Dave Wilson in service, its nothing but a good experience. He is fair and genuine. He is accurate. He is pleasant and easy to deal with. What's this guy's secret? People in his line of work should follow his lead. What a good guy! Thats the experience I want when my Jeep is in for service. Thats why I recommend this dealership to my family and friends for service. Thats why I will continue to buy cars from this place and obviously continue my service. I felt I needed to write something because its been one good experience after another with Mr. Wilson. I truly appreciate that kind of treatment. Everyone should. Thanks. More
I called to make a 10:00 a.m. appointment for service. I arrived a few minutes before 10 & was taken promptly. One of my biggest pet peeves is making an appointment and then still having to wait. I pride myself on being on time, & I expect the same in return. I waited for the work to be completed and was promptly called when the work was finished. I was escorted by John to the payment station (he was the one I bought my car from & recognized me immediately & acknowledged my presence). It is nice to know that even though he knew I was not going to buy something, he still had a conversation with me. I was not forgotten. Work on my car was completed & I was satisfied. Thank you. More
For 2 different days I have been trying to get to their service dept. Today I was in an endless loop of phone being forwarded. Someone would occasionally pick it up and say please hold. Most times they picked it up and put it immediately on hold. Once a woman answered it “pretending” to be services and then said”please hold”. This happened for nearly 45 minutes. At one point I asked to speak to the general manager – apparently, the GM, like the rest of that organization, was on the phone. What a joke Herb Chamber’s dealership is – I will never go to any Herb Chambers dealerships. How do they stay in business? More
