My wife and I currently own a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with 110 K miles. I plan to keep this vehicle and hope to get another 10 years out of it. For this reason we began checking out Jeep dealerships with the intention of purchasing a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We began our in-person shopping at Herb Chambers Jeep of Danvers, Ma. I had done some price checking on-line and knew what I expected to pay. We were greeted by salesman Vito Scavo. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and we explained what we were looking for and Vito showed us the exact vehicle! We went for a test drive and I was very pleased to find that while more than willing to answer any questions we had, Vito allowed the vehicle to sell itself. Very wise move, because we headed back to the dealership to discuss price. I was again very happy to find that at Herb Chambers the price they quote is the price you can get the vehicle for. No running back to the "manager" to see if your offer works. The price I was quoted was considerably lower than I expected and that combined with the fact that it was the exact vehicle we were looking for was enough to convince us to agree to the deal. Our salesman Veto worked with us through the entire process and when we picked up the vehicle he spent time explaining every button, knob, switch and light in the Jeep. I could not have asked for a better car buying experience. Vito even introduced me to the "Red Team" service manager and explained that when I come in for service my vehicle will be worked on by the same team of mechanics each time. I would be remiss if I did not mention that the finance manager Joe Dipietro was easy to work with and made the sometimes difficult financing part of the purchase smooth and without any surprises. This probably sounds like it was written by someone with a personal interest in this dealership, but I assure you my wife and I walked in cold and were so impressed with every aspect of this car buying experience that I am happy to write this review. Obviously I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a car or truck to check out this dealership for yourself. It may be well worth your time. More

I had looked at some other dealerships and was not happy at all with the salesmen I spoke with there....I felt pressured and unc a great experience! Seth took the time to listen to which features in a car were most important to me and then helped me decide on the Dodge Journey. We went for a test drive and I knew it was the perfect car for me. Seth is very easy to talk with, extremely personable & knowlegeable; I felt like I was buying a car from a good friend. I went back the next day to pick up my new car and Seth actually stayed well past closing to make sure I new how to work the Bluetooth, the satellite radio, etc before leaving. The main star of the dealership is Seth Anderson. Save yourself the trouble and just ask for the guy. Me and my father had been to 2 other Herb Chamber dealerships and Seth was not rude nor did he rush us yourself the trouble and just ask for the guy. We had caught Seth a few minutes before he was leaving for the day and he ended up staying with us until 30 minutes before closing. He is calm, enthusiastic, and HONEST. He made sure we were well taken care of and the reviews he gets on this site just proves how hard he works. I have to give credit to his T.O. manager as well, he kept cultural considerations into the deal. By far the best experience I have had shopping for a vehicle. I went to Herb Chambers Jeep/Dodge not really knowing 100% what I wanted. I met Seth Anderson and he helped me from start to finish. I honestly did not even feel like i was shopping for a vehicle since there was not a sense of someone trying to forcefully sell something. Seth took his time to get to know what I had in mind of what I may want and helped me choose some cars to test drive. Seth was extremely personable and helpful. After some test drives and all my questions being answered, I decided on a Jeep liberty. I then met with Joe DePierto who was also very helpful and assisted with the finance piece. I originally began contemplating the possibility of purchasing a new car approx 1 year ago. Which car to buy...hmmm...well my 1st & only choice of course is the Dodge Charger. Should I buy a leftover 2010 or take the plunge on a new redesigned 2011. This choice was extremely easy, the 2011 of course. I searched high & low for the right model, color, options. I went to about 6 dealerships until I came across "the one" at Herb Chambers Danvers. My buddy & I arrived at the dealership on 7/5/11 to look at a Toxic Orange R/T Max. WOW what a car! We went through every nook & cranny. After approx 20 minutes on the lot Seth Anderson approached us as he drove by in a Chrysler 300 that he was dropping off at the front lot. He stopped & asked if we needed assistance. We answered yes & immediately took him to the car in question. He got out of the car, we exchanged pleasantry & he documented the stock #. He then asked us to meet him up front as he dropped off the 300. Once we met again at the front entrance Seth took us to his desk located in the showroom floor. Before we sat down he was kind enough to ask if we needed anything. Your mark get set gooooooooo...:-) Seth sat me & my friend down at his desk & calmly went through the oh-so familiar process. While taking my personal info we engaged in everyday chit chat to ease any tension. At this time I had informed him that I may consider a trade-in as well. I handed my keys & he immediately had one of his colleagues perform an evaluation. Once Seth documented all my info in the system we had agreed to go for the highly anticipated test drive. Seth took me around both highway & countryside roads to showcase its performance. After 20+ minutes of driving I was completely convinced that this car would go home with me. We headed back to the dealership with every intention to come away with a brand new car at the best price possible. With the assistance of the manager we all agreed with a price for the car (including my trade-in). Seth was great throughout the whole process. Never once did I feel uncomfortable.
