Came in for an oil change, was promptly greeted by someone as I drove into the service area. While in the waiting area, William brought my young daughter over a teddy bear, which was very nice of him someone as I drove into the service area. The salesman who sold me my 2 cars 2 years ago remembered me and asked how everything was and how i was. One thing I dont understand and never will, the salesman are usually sitting in the waiting area, eating, drinking, doesnt bother me, they were all very nice but shouldnt they be standing? As i said doesnt bother me as they are very corteous anyhow. $40 for an oil change is a bit steep conidering I can go to any local shop for about $20-$30. More

I have only taken my car here twice, but so far, I have had nothing be great service and I love the fact that they wash and vacuum my Caravan each time. I called at 10:15am, dropped off with no appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Had a bad lug nut (previous dealer put on an after market one), they called for an okay to replace. My car was completed in under an hour! I told them to take their time since I didn't have an appointment. Bill was AWESOME!!! Great customer service!! Even check out was fast!!! Another wonderful experience at Herb Chambers Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Danvers. I pulled into the garage for my oil change and was immediately greeted by William. In addition to my oil change, I had planned on getting a tire rotation and also had inquired about wiper blades. Instead of just assuming these things needed servicing, William made sure they were actually necessary - which after checking, they were not. Thank you for not trying to sell me something I didn't actually need. I've dealt with dealerships before that always seem to find something else that needs to be done in addition to what you're actually there for. They serviced, washed and vacuumed my car in about 30 minutes ... and even managed to find a pill box and set of keys that I thought were lost forever! Thanks for that, too! The cashiers were extremely friendly, too. The friendly service and great work you receive at Herb Chambers far surpasses any quicky oil change place around. I also saw the salesmen that sold me my car, Mark Cunningham and Seth Anderson who were both as friendly as they were when I first arrived to by my car. I came to this dealer to check out new cars. I wasn't 100% what I wanted but I had inquired about two specific models. When I had asked the employee about the cars I wanted he instructed me to go walk around the lot by myself and look at cars, after I told him the two models I wanted to look at. I was wondering the lot and should have just left. I gave them the benefit of doubt and decided to stay so I went back in and told themI wanted to look at a automatic jeep wrangler for the price i was looking for. He was more concerned with showing me one that was the color I was interested in. We walked all around the lot to find the jeep was an manual transmission(not what I wanted) then he said he could possibly find me anothet one but he wanted to talk price first. After talking with the finance guy the car he was showing me was 10k more than I told him i wanted to spend. I told them I couldn't afford that and he instructed me to buy a cheaper car(no, really?) So I decided to start fresh and pick an entire new model. Took me to test drive it and it wasn't bad. He informed me about its options by reading the sticker out loud and did not inform me of any other trims or packages that were available. But before I left they wanted to put my name in the system. After saying it and spelling it out to them they still managed to get it wrong and its not a hard to spell name its straight forward. You think he would have matched it to my credit check. This place was a joke. Only go here if you know exactly what you want and can help yourself. So all you need to do is point and say "I want that one." The employee I worked with seemed to be a nice guy just a poor salesmen. The finance guy also seemed friendly so that's all they have going for them. More
I came to Herb Chambers Jeep of Danvers unsure at first as to what type of Jeep I really was looking for. My mother had previously worked with Seth Anderson and bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from him, durin as to what type of Jeep I really was looking for. My mother had previously worked with Seth Anderson and bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from him, during the previous year, and did not have enough good things to say. Upon meeting Seth, he is very friendly, out going, easy to talk to and tells you the facts without talking strictly business. While going over details in my price range, we began to look at the Jeep Compass and went for a test drive. After my original appointment I happened to visit two other dealerships just to look at other SUVs and to make sure I really wanted to get another Jeep. I wanted to see what else was out there and compare since I had a Jeep Liberty for eight years and that was all I knew, but LOVED. Seth happened to touch base with me after one of those other appointments, just to see where I stood, if there was anything he could help me with and to guide me in narrowing down my car search. He was very genuine, and answered a lot of questions I had. At that point for some reason I could not get the Jeep Patriot out of my head and all I knew is that I wanted to test drive it! I loved the box shape and from then on it was evident that I am a Jeep girl!! Seth helped me narrow down my search with specifics since I knew exactly what I wanted my new car to have inside and out. Shortly thereafter, I met back up with Seth to test drive my perfect Jeep Patriot. I knew from just looking at it that the Patriot was the SUV for me! After working the numbers, my car search ended happily and I am now a proud owner of a Jeep Patriot:The Oscar Mike Edition! I am truly thankful for the experience I had a Herb Chambers in Danvers. All the staff were friendly and helpful and I am really appreciative of Seth's work ethic and professionalism. Along with Seth, I worked with the sales manager Will and the Finance manager Joe and they both were great as well! Each of them were down to earth, easy going and extremely helpful throughout this process. It really shows that they want the best for you while buying a car that fits you just right. Osiris DeLeon was my contact person, and he was professional and so very courteous throughout my entire repair experience, including calling me a few times to explain things thoroughly. Osiris is a great representative of your business, and he is very skilled at explaining technical things to customers. My 2008 Jeep Wrangler is running like brand new thanks to your skilled technicians; and when I picked it up I smiled when I saw it had been washed clean. Frankly, I bought this Jeep from a competitor, but I had been let down several times in terms of the service and treatment I received. They never returned calls when I called to schedule an appointment for maintenance - how can a company not return a customer's call when it's new business? But after I had a wonderful experience with the collision shop at your Danvers location, I knew I could expect great service in the future. I don't live close to the Danvers store so I tend to get oil changes at a more local place. But there is no doubt I will be returning to your shop in Danvers for any future maintenance I need. AND - hopefully I'll be looking at buying a new Wrangler for 2014, and I am positive I will be purchasing it from Herb Chambers. You are doing everything right in managing your business....
