My 10-year old car needed to be replaced. I finally decided on a Jeep Wrangler. My husband asked a friend who knows a lot about cars to recommend a place to start the process. Without hesitation, he told us to go to Herb Chambers in Danvers. We played it smart and made an appointment so we wouldn't have to wait around if they were busy (and they were!) I don't think we were the most difficult customers to come through those doors, but I'm sure we weren't the easiest. Glenn Chandler gave us his undivided attention, and was incredibly thorough with his explanations about the different types of Wrangler vehicles. We drove several Wranglers and even changed our minds more than once. He NEVER showed any sign of frustration or being impatient. He made the whole process seamless and painless. All the staff we interacted with (General Manager, Financial/Credit Manager, etc.) We very professional AND personable. There was no "back-and-forth" on the pricing. They gave us a fair deal on my trade-in and were honest and upfront about the cost of the new vehicle. My husband will be turning in his lease next year and will be buying a car. If he thinks he might like one of the MANY different lines Herb Chambers carries, we wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again. More

I walked into this dealership intending to just test drive some used vehicle. I especially did not want to buy a NEW car again because of my experience at a previous dealer ship 8 years ago when i bough drive some used vehicle. This dealership was definitely different when my boyfriend and I walked in. Seth greeted us at the door, asked if he could help us with anything. Immediately he was energetic, fun, and excited to go out of show us some new and used vehicles. We test drove about 3-4 cars and his knowledge about the vehicles was amazing. He gave me and my boyfriend some great information and after talking with him for about 3 hours we left with nothing. I was driving down route 114 and realized it was a good deal and they were EXTREMELY nice so we turned around, started the paper work and bought the brand new 2014 jeep patriot. Im in love with it and thanks to Seth I'm driving my first new Jeep that I have wanted since i was a kid. I needed to go in for a new computerized key. Derek wsa not familiar with the warranty I had from another dealership, but did everything to help me get the service so that I could use my car that day.
