Could not have been happier with the service and process I have never been a fan of the car buying process. I don't like to play the back and forth games and spend hours going in circles while feeling like t I have never been a fan of the car buying process. I don't like to play the back and forth games and spend hours going in circles while feeling like the people I am dealing with are trying to get one over on me so when it came time for a change I was not looking forward to it. Well my fears could not have been further from reality when I chose to deal with Herb Chambers Jeep in Danvers. Over the course of a few messages (without being told I needed to come down and do it in person) I with the help of Sales Manager Bill Lee was able to determine just about all the parameters of the transaction aside from the final price for my trade in. Upon arriving at the facility (which is in great condition which always helps) Bill introduced me to a sales consultant Vito Scavo (who I would highly recommend!) who had already been given the outline on what was discussed. We took a test drive and Vito was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered all the questions I had. Once we got back to the dealership Bill had already looked at my trade and actually was able to give me MORE than he quoted he thought it was worth which I had already agreed was a good deal. Vito suggested that we do a little of the paperwork at that time and since the finance folks were all occupied that we make an appointment to come back so we didn't sit around for an extended period which I appreciated. We came back the next day at the agreed to time and there was no delay, the team there was ready for us and we were in and out driving off int he new car within an hour!! Vito took care of contacting our insurance company and transferring our registration and 2 days later I dropped back in and picked up the new documents and they put the inspection sticker on straight away. The entire process from beginning to end could not have been easier for us and I would recommend them to anyone and suggest you reach out to Bill or Vito is you are going by. More

I told him what I wanted, what I was willing to pay and Lou not only listened, he delivered! This was kind of confusing to me. I mean I was ready to get all defensive and plan my big storm out as most Clients need to do to prove a point that we will not overpay for a car! But than I realized I didn't have to resort to any drama. Lou even suggested I may want to take some time to think about it and get back to him?? What?? I was being offered a better deal than I could ever of thought of getting! So if you want a nice experience buying a car then I would highly recommend Lou! I really do hate it. Edison changed that notion for me, as we had a deal done within 10 minutes. I clearly outlined what I wanted and what I was willing to pay for it, and Edison not only delivered, he exceed my expectations. I left the dealer feeling like I won, and there wasn't even a fight. No hard sell, he just gave us exactly what we were looking for and took care of all the little details. They were simple, painless transactions. Our daughter is financing her car. She worked with Joe Dipietro who was amazing. This is her first loan. He walked her through the process and gave her a lesson on how to establish a good credit rating going forward. Lewis Silvano was one of the best car salesmen with whom we have dealt. He was pleasant, cheerful, funny, knowledgeable and honest. He listened to us (and our daughter) and helped locate the perfect car. He was extremely patient and made us feel welcome and important as we walked the entire lot. Louis eventually found the car we wanted in the dealership's online inventory and had it brought out for us. We went for a test drive and bought the car on the spot. Then things got even better. The rest of the purchase experience (finance, delivery, etc.) was tremendous and FAST. We located the car late one Friday night, then finished the deal and took delivery (insurance, plates, etc.) by Monday afternoon (the next business day). When we got the vehicle home, which had been detailed to perfection, and began to drive it, we noticed some issues with the door locks and the brakes. I called the Herb Chambers service department and was told to drop off the car at my convenience. Further, I was offered either a shuttle ride home or a rental car--neither of which we took advantage, but both options were offered without me asking. Without further discussion, the service department replaced all rotors and brake pads, as well as the electronics related to the operation of the door locks. All of the problems were resolved beyond my satisfaction without any begging or pleading on my part. These repairs would have cost me well over $500, up to perhaps $1,000. Herb Chambers stood behind the vehicle. Period. I would highly recommend this dealership. When you go there, call ahead and ask for Lewis Silvano if you want a pleasant, no hassle, no hustle purchase experience. From all indications, I can expect the same from Herb Chambers during the life of my vehicle if I ever need warranty service, or anything else. We are extremely satisfied! More
