New BMW Owner I recently purchased a 2016 BMW 535i XDrive from Marjorie Nicolas at BMW of Sudbury. She was a pleasure to work with. I came in last April, ready to t I recently purchased a 2016 BMW 535i XDrive from Marjorie Nicolas at BMW of Sudbury. She was a pleasure to work with. I came in last April, ready to test-drive the 2015 335iX and the 535iX, after narrowing my candidates down to Audi and BMW. I had already driven three Audi models. My request for test drives was quickly accommodated, and I drove both BMW models mentioned above, accompanied by Marjorie. Those drives were relatively brief, and were on roads near the dealership only partially familiar to me. However, that was sufficient for me to focus on the 535. I told Marjorie that the next requirement for me was to drive that model on much more familiar roads, further from the dealership, and for a longer period of time, sufficient to get more of a feel for how the car handled, and to try out some of the performance-oriented features ("Drive Mode," Auto/Manual transmission, etc.). That request was quickly met the next morning. The drive that she and I took was enough to convince me to proceed to the deal-making phase. The packages and options I wanted meant that this would be a "built-for-me" vehicle. Different people have different expectations about the deal-making process, and I don't believe in characterizing a dealership in terms like "offered a great deal," or (on the other hand) "were over-priced compared with the dealer I bought the car from." The final price results from a negotiation between the potential customer and a Sales Manager (essentially), and an agreement either is reached or it isn't. I'll simply state that if I were the type of customer who would consider buying a car at the MSRP, I was given the opportunity to do so. Fair enough. That's not what the outcome was, and I did agree to buy the car at that time. Fast-forwarding, when I was allocated a custom-built "slot and the order was placed, BMW informed the dealership that the particular build at that time could not be a 2015, contrary to the info the dealer had access to when we signed the purchase agreement. I agreed to wait for a 2016 model-year build, rather than being less rigid about the options that I wanted on a 2015. The dealer's estimate that the car would be available in August proved accurate, and I took possession at the end of August. The latter process went smoothly, including sales paperwork, registration, MA inspection sticker, etc.and I'm very happy with the car thus far, and happy that I didn't compromise to get it sooner. I'm learning more about it every day, and looking forward to my eventual appointment with their resident BMW Genius (Tony, whom I've met, and who seems very knowledgeable). Incidentally, for performance/handling afficionados, I'm very pleased with the "Adaptive Suspension" option that I ordered (the only significant feature that wasn't available on the vehicle that I test-drove). She held my hand throughout the entire process of me selling my current car and getting the lease situated. I would recommend using her as she is very personable, caring, and easy to work with. I also believe she did everything in her power to get me the best price I could receive for my new lease. In terms of the service department they are amazing, always timely and helpful in any request I have. My biggest critique is with their sales management. The sales manager I worked with was my best friend the day I bought the car. Then the next two times I came into the dealership he made eye contact with me from across the room and didn't even wave hello. If that were me I would have come over and engaged in a conversation. I guess you can't win them all! To review, Marjorie Nicholas was amazing, and should be asked for if you are interested in getting a new BMW! More
Satisfied Repeat Customer I have just completed my fifth BMW purchase from BMW Sudbury, all of them European deliveries; meaning that I pick up the ordered car at a BMW's facil I have just completed my fifth BMW purchase from BMW Sudbury, all of them European deliveries; meaning that I pick up the ordered car at a BMW's facility in Munich, Germany, drive it in Europe, drop it off at designated locations, where it is then shipped to BMW Sudbury. This latest car was a 2016 340i xDrive and it's a changed model, with production only starting this past July. I would be picking it up only a month later. This short time frame made this purchase challenging, and I want to give credit to Sean Murtagh, my client adviser, for making it work. I had told him that it was essential for me to take delivery on a specific early date, so he had to make arrangements with BMW's European Delivery Department, before the computer would even allow the order to be placed. I have gone back over and over again to BMW Sudbury because its pricing is fair and I recommend that anyone visiting there seek Sean out. He has also been a client adviser there for many years, so has a lot of knowledge about the cars. I also like the service. My service rep is Chris Hatch and he is always accommodating to my Wife's schedule, since we live a good distance away. She generally brings the car in and Chris gets her a good loaner car when necessary. In reading other reviews I saw that Pranav Gill, the General Manager and Fahad Arshad get mentioned. I can affirm that both care about their customers, which also makes this dealership a good place to be if something should ever go wrong. More

I began shopping a few locations and looking at other options from Maserati and Mercedes-Benz. I was very interested in the new CLA-45 AMGs that Mercedes had to offer this year and spoke to a sales consultant in Natick. The amount of disrespect I was shown by the client advisor at that location was appalling. The experience was so poor at that location that it completely turned me off to Mercedes-Benz as a whole. That same day, I drove to BMW in Sudbury and met Client Advisor Jason Hawksley. The experience was night and day. There was no pressure to make a purchase and I was not belittled for not agreeing to terms the first time around (like my experience in Natick). Jason was very meticulous during the sales process by reviewing all my options and searching through all available inventory to find just the car for me. At the same time, he valued my time as a customer and pushed to get answers from finance and management as quickly as possible while (literally) running through the showroom to speed the process along. We ended up finding exactly what I was looking for (and more!) I felt great leaving the dealership knowing I got the best price possible from Jason and the phenomenal sales team at BMW in Sudbury. Finance Manager Billy Hronas was also first class in the process. I even got a great deal on ding protection after discussing that I only planned to own the car for 3 years! Again, I cannot thank Jason enough for the unbelievable experience I had during what is generally a daunting process. I cannot wait to pick up the car on Thursday. And I also cannot wait to pick up every one of my future cars from BMW in Sudbury! More

My service manager,Chris Hatch, is a super-star: high integrity, unbelievable fast in processing requests and always anticipating any additional potential issues. The support team around him is equally dedicated, making sure things are done right and quickly. In the future, I'll only buy a BMW and I'll only buy it from Sudbury solely on the basis of the quality of the service that I have received for him and the rest of the team for the past 7+ years. Who does that? Only a company that is serious about their brand and the customer experience. A few months later, they called me to say my car was pinging them for brake service! I never noticed the indicator, and was amazed when they reached out. But my latest adventure was the best encounter yet. Yesterday morning I lost power steering and electric, barely making it home. Called the dealership, spoke to Al the manager, who gave me the number for roadside assistance, which flat bedded it to Subury. Went with the tow truck driver - dealership had paperwork and loaner car ready to go. Within two hours, I was home. On the way home, All I could think was "There's no place like BMW. There's no place like BMWM" I will only ever purchase BMW's and will always keep my cars under warranty. BMW Sudbury rocks. More
A terrific car-buying experience! I've purchased or leased a dozen cars over the years and I can say that this was the easiest and most pleasant car-buying experience I have ever had. My initial contact was with Molly Carnathan, who introduced me to client advisor John DiBitetto. On the day I visited their showroom I had test driven an Acura in the morning, and I had intended to test drive a Lexus the following day. But after driving a 2016 X3 and working with John, I ended up purchasing an X3 the same day. John was extremely knowledgeable about the car and answered all my questions, without ever pressuring me to purchase a car that day. Everyone I dealt with had a friendly and professional attitude. In the end I received a very nice discount off the MSRP of my X3 and a fair value for my trade-in. I highly recommend John and BMW of Sudbury to anyone looking for a BMW. More

I made it very clear right from the beginning that I am a sure buyer, to the extent that I will buy the car over the weekend. It seems they don't want you to shop around also not entertain unless you are ready to buy. Anyway, I gave the benefit of doubt and went in with the sales person. She was absolutely horrible, rude and discriminating!!! I had done research on their inventory and took a list of 5 cars (2 X3s and 3 3 series). She told me and my wife: 1. That we do not know what we want instead of asking why we have chosen 2 different types of cars. 2. Which particular one I want I am not going to buy 5. Why do I have a list of 5? Horrible customer service, extremely rude and probably discriminating. I would say to every customer, you are are the one spending 50K on a car, go and give it to someone who treats you well. Anyway, the manager offered to make the experience better next time I go. Not sure I want to drive 35 mins to spend 50K and get attitude for free. The comeback story -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following day, Pranav Gill, the general manager called several times and was even ready to send the cars home for test drive as I was reluctant to go back. Anyway, after a lot of persuasion I did go back. Pranav did make it up for the poor experience. Good price and great treatment. Eric was fantastic too. He spent lot of time with all possible details and with lot of patience and with a smile. Fahad is another guy who made sure we did not have any other bad moment. Today while Pranav was away he made sure to meet us and make sure all is good. With Eric nothing was going to go wrong anyway. I feel obligated to share my eventual wonderful experience. If you are looking for a BMW and if you are here ask for Pranav, Eric or Fahad. If you run into the ones I met day 1, good luck ;) I would like to emphasize that, while the eventual experience was good, that should be normal. You should treat all your customers the way these 3 guys did. While these 3 guys are true, the other 2 are also true. Some amount of training is still needed at this dealership. Hence the 4 star. More

I had shopped around with other competitors and saved the BMW for last, and It was the one!!! Molly made arrangements for my visit, I walked in with my wife and daugher, Molly met us and introduced us to Tom Michalopoulos. We felt very comfortable with Tom as soon as we met him. He was very nice and went over the vehicle we were interested in, and showed us more features of the vehicle during the test drive... Got back, sat down went over the numbers, Tom came back with a couple of offers, we made a counter offer and shook hands on a deal. Picking up the new vehicle later today :-) More
