Bryce and Courtney, and others, were amicable, helpful, and kept me in the loop. The maintenance tech found an issue that had not presented symptoms yet, but could have been serious if left unrepaired. Goo and kept me in the loop. We had a morning service appointment for our 2022 XC90 T8, an customer-focused; our experience with Hendrick Volvo Cars of Charleston was a pleasure! We had a morning service appointment for our 2022 XC90 T8, and our service advisor, Bryce Salters, was exceptionally accommodating - kudos! Shortly thereafter, an ongoing (several days) conversation with Damon Delaney resulted in my wife, Hope, sitting in a new 2024 XC90 T8 Ultimate with a huge smile on her face - Damon is the consummate sales professional!! I then spent some quality time engaged in deep conversation with a fellow Army veteran, finance manager, Nick Almond, whom was likewise patient, thorough, and focused on ensuring that my every question was fully answered. Afterward, Damon was able to demonstrate his prodigious knowledge of the Volvo product line as he carefully explained features, differences, and the new operating system on the 2024 XC90 T8 Ultimate; Hope and I were able to grasp most of the instruction, and Damon assured us that he was available any time to answer questions and solve the mysteries of the universe . . . and we believe him! EDIT: HAD THIS beautiful Volvo since March. Made 4 car payments. During that time (1) came out of my house one morning and found the car DEAD. A $60,000 hunk of metal sitting in my driveway. Made 4 car payments. During that time (1) came out of my house one morning and found the car DEAD. A $60,000 hunk of metal sitting in my driveway. Had to be towed and then picked up because of "battery issues". (2) Was at work and my car wouldn't start. Had to call into service, leave a message, wait for someone to call me back and tell me over the phone how to update software to get my car running again. (3). Noticed a bubble in the sidewall of my tire. Called in for service (had to call 3 times because of a new automated system - god forbid you talk to a human these days) and had to take my car in for service AGAIN. They are charging me $525.00 for ONE NEW TIRE!!!! Not covered... I tried to talk to the manager "Tony" and he basically told me since I don't have the tire package, nothing he can do. Yes of course I could have purchased the tire package (I opted for the repair package instead) if I new a brand new 4 month old $60K vehicle would have tire defects. So basically don't go here and get a Volvo. Worst customer service every... All they care about is selling you the car at top dollar and then they have no care in the world if your car works, if you crash due to faulty tires etc. Sad.... I was always a Jeep person and will certainly being going back to Jeep. 3 ISSUES during 4 CAR PAYMENTS. Terrible More
