I found the car I purchased online, while restricted to bed rest following an invasive surgery. He offered to bring the VW EOS to my home and take back my Audi for consideration as a trade. He made the drive and spent most of his day off to accommodate my needs, even though I suggested he wait a day until he was scheduled to be at taking his time off ma meet me another day, I was really happy with the transaction, Michael made the process a very easy thing, where one is typically wary. It will be a long while until I am in the market for a replacement vehicle, I would enjoy the opportunity of enjoying him as my sales person on the next transaction. I commend all the staff, and thanks all for their professional integrity. More

My experience with Hendrick Volkswagen of Concord. I was in desperate need of a vehicle and this was my first experience with trying to purchase a new car. As I was losing hope on finding a car on this I was in desperate need of a vehicle and this was my first experience with trying to purchase a new car. As I was losing hope on finding a car on this day, I entered the dealership and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of service I was offered. Shortly thereafter, I found my dream car and was on my way. Thank you so much for all of the help and hospitality! It was a wonderful experience! Great customer servce and amazing experience.this I had lost my faith in car dealerships and was an avid fan of Carmax. I gave Hendrick an opportunity because as I was looking for a Jetta online immed I had lost my faith in car dealerships and was an avid fan of Carmax. I gave Hendrick an opportunity because as I was looking for a Jetta online immediately they called me and reeled me in with great customer service on the phone. I decided to give them a try and I am very happy I did. The gave me a great deal, an amazing price and knew exactly what I needed. They chose exactly the right trim on the right model and in the end I came out very happy driving a new VW Jetta 2015. I strongly recommend this dealership and also the brand! I had a great experience, the infrastructure of the dealership is great and is very clean. They even have pop corn!!! More
Terrible customer service and bold face liars. I am writing this review as a warning to consumers. My wife’s 08 Passat had a transmission leak and we had it towed to Hendricks VW in Concord on 9/27 I am writing this review as a warning to consumers. My wife’s 08 Passat had a transmission leak and we had it towed to Hendricks VW in Concord on 9/27/14. We had just had a transmission replacement done by Carolina VW on 12/10/13 less than a year ago so we were leery about their service because we had other service issues with them prior. So the car is at Hendricks VW and right out of the gate we are told there is a bolt missing from transmission pan. I knew instantly that Carolina VW and their shoddy service work was the culprit, but anyway that is a whole other story. At this point my wife need her car so we have to get it fixed. I speak with Matt Testa, the newly appointed manager and let him know we needed the car fixed and to go ahead and diagnose it and he said he will get back with me that day or the next day at the latest. I did not hear from Matt and two days had passed, I call Matt and he tells me he had been trying to get a hold of me and left a message on my phone ( LIE #1). He then tells me I needed a torque converter and it was going to be $2443 + tax. Wow, I knew that was high and dealers are usually higher so I tell him that I’ll be in to pick my car up. I then ask him how much the diagnosis was and he tells me $845.00 + tax. All the blood in my body begins to boil. As a fairly knowledgeable dude on cars I’m thinking a diagnoses should run around two hundred bucks at the most considering it’s all computerized, my mistake. I then ask him why wasn’t told the cost of the diagnosis whether I got it fixed are not, he said he did (LIE #2). Who agrees to an $845.00 diagnostic? He then says he had our conversation on phone tape but he could not produce it when I asked him to (LIE #3). This is just the tip of my ordeal Hendricks VW and Matt Testa. In conclusion, consumers be warned about this dealer’s service department. If they lie about the little things who know what else they will lie about. Mr. and Mrs. Mack, Charlotte, NC. More
What customer service? Well, I've been to this dealership three times to shop the new GTI and each visit was a complete waste of time. The first time I was browsing on the l Well, I've been to this dealership three times to shop the new GTI and each visit was a complete waste of time. The first time I was browsing on the lot and there was no salesperson or greeter to be found and this was early afternoon on a Friday (although it was a hot Friday so maybe no one wanted the leave the comfort of the a/c). The second time I started browsing the lot and eventually made my way into the showroom to look at a floor model. There was a silver GTI that I thoroughly examined right by a sales desk and no one even made eye contact with me in that place! I'm a professional in my mid-30s so it's not like I'm walking in this place looking like Quasimodo. The third time I pulled up to the building and walked to the row of GTIs, only this time I was actually greeted by a young salesperson. This person was very polite and tried to help me out but didn't have much knowledge of the GTIs. Now I by no means find this to be this person's fault but rather management's for not properly training this individual. Here's the kicker, there was a model on the lot that I was interested in and I asked I could have a look inside. The salesperson agreed and walked inside to get the keys but when this person returned apparently we couldn't look at the car because it was sold. Really!? Then what was it still doing on the lot? You would seem to think whoever told this salesperson, presumably a manager, that the car was sold would hand over the keys to another (unsold) GTI on the lot to look at but that obviously did not happen. By this time, my frustration with this place was out the door so I thanked the salesperson for their time and went on my way. I have owned several new model evolutions of the GTI since the early 2000s and had much better experiences at other area dealerships. The only reason I gave this place multiple opportunities to sell me a car is because they are close to my house but no more opportunities are in order. Bottom line, this place has no interest in customer service or selling cars so save yourself some time / frustration and go to one of the many other area VW dealers. More

Allan is an easy to work with, charismatic sales representative who made me very comfortable during test driving and while teaching me about their cars. Cal (his team leader) is a very pleasant, honest person to deal with when buying a car as well. I am a picky customer, expecting a lot from Hendrick VW regarding a solid trade-in price for my car and a competitively low price for the car I purchased. - Ted did a great job of orchestrating the work began by Allan and Cal to completely meet my needs regarding cost details and payment amount. I was ABLE TO LEAVE HENDRICK OF CONCORD EXCEEDINGLY HAPPY with my new purchase. ~ THANKS TO TED! I owe a big Thank You to Hendrick VW of Concord's Employees for getting me into a GREAT CAR FOR A GREAT PRICE. More
