I took my Camry in for the 30k check up. Every other check up before this I complained about road noise from the tires. I was worried it was a wheel bearing. Every time they assured me it wa Every other check up before this I complained about road noise from the tires. I was worried it was a wheel bearing. Every time they assured me it was nothing and that it was tire noise. Ever visit the noise was worse. When I took it on today I explained everything to the service person and that the noise is now to the point I can hardly hear the radio. Their fix was to charge me for tire balancing and alignment for around $200.00.because the tires were cupping creating more noise. On my first maintenance visit I had pointed this cupping out to the service technician and he assured me it was ok. Now today the want to charge me because I have too many miles on the car to where it is not covered. I told him I brought this up at every visit. He said in their records I only brought it up at the 24K service and that exceeds the miles limit to have it covered under warranty.So I learned a lesson if you have a problem make sure it gets documented in their computer and don’t trust their verbal responses like I did.I will take my car to another place to remedy the problem since now I have to pay for it myself More
