Stay away from their service center Hendrick Subaru Southpoint in Durham NC is being a nightmare of which I have no chance of explaining in 750 characters regarding what's been going on Hendrick Subaru Southpoint in Durham NC is being a nightmare of which I have no chance of explaining in 750 characters regarding what's been going on since I took my 2002 up to them to have a look at a CEL and also ended up buying a car from them as they happened to have a fairly rare set of options on a car that I had been looking around for for awhile... It's a long arduous story at this point considering it's only been about 3 weeks...I've been trying to document what's been going on as best I can but I'm getting so frustrated at this point that I just don't know what to do... They sold me a car and it's been beaten half to death in their service department due to them continuing to damage the vehicle in some way or another every time they have it... It didn't even have the jack or the roadside service kit it was supposed to have... Horrible service department...Buy a car there if they have what you want, but GET SERVICE ELSEWHERE...! More

Excellent Experience I wanted to lease a Subaru, primarily because of Subaru's safety record and partly because I love their ads, especially the golden retriever family. The two sales consultants I dealt with--David Hickerson and Chris Kulis--were fabulous. They were friendly, funny, warm, knowledgeable, responsive, and every other positive adjective that might be applied to a sales representative. (They also kept me hydrated by fetching bottles of very cold water.) I should also commend "Moose," who took me through the financial stuff, using a large monitor projected on a trendy table. Moose swiveled the monitor to face either him or me, and I signed with my finger--very cool. I got exactly the car I wanted--a red Sports Impreza, with black interior and trim and every safety feature known to humankind. I picked up the car after I turned in my leased Mazda 3 on May 22. "The guys" had the car ready to go when I arrived, and David spent well over an hour explaining all the bells and whistles and helping me transfer my SiriusXM account to the Subaru. Although I knew I wanted a Subaru Impreza, I wasn't looking forward to the expected stress of the process. But David and Chris turned the task into a happy experience that was actually fun! And finally, since I sealed the deal, I've received several emails welcoming me into the "family." More

Excellent Customer Service from Vincent McLeod Went to Performance Subaru a couple of weeks to look at a Lexus ES 350 in their pre-owned lot. I was assisted by Vincent McLeod, who provided a Grade Went to Performance Subaru a couple of weeks to look at a Lexus ES 350 in their pre-owned lot. I was assisted by Vincent McLeod, who provided a Grade A experience throughout the entire process - he answered every question in regards to the ES 350 while also showing me a Lexus LS 460 that Performance received a few days prior. I bought the ES 350 model and also brought in my father, who ended up purchasing the LS 460. My family bought 2 cars from Performance, and I can honestly say this would not have been possible without the excellent customer service provided by Vince. Bill Miller and DeBois Thompson were also involved and instrumental in providing an excellent customer service experience - I greatly appreciate all 3 gentleman for going out of their way to treat my family like theirs throughout the entire sales process. problems with great solutions. we bought a 2015 crosstrek limited with eye sight. we were happy with the purchase. But a week after we bought it the check engine light came on and after multiple times taking it to be serviced it wouldn't go off. we got frustrated and after discussing it with the dealership we decided to take it to the manufacturer. Apparently it was a engineering problem because the dealership was doing all the could servicing the vehicle. So it only took a few days for them to work out a way to put us in a brand new crosstrek that we were happy with. Sometimes things don't go the way you want them to. When things do go a little sour it's nice to have the support from the other end. I'm happy with the service Performance provided. they listened to us and helped get to a solution that was pleasing. we are very happy with our New crosstrek and will be definitely looking to buy another soon from them. More
