I was charged $53. 00 for a "misc. shop fee" when I brought my car in for its 30k mile service (charged $53....on top of an $850 service!!!). When I questioned it, I was told it's a "fee everyone pays" for the 'free loaner' and for 'coffee in the lounge' and 'shop cleanliness'. SHOP CLEANLINESS??? Why TF would I be charged for that?!?!? Isn't that the cost of doing business???? FREE LOANER??? If I'm charged, then it isn't free. My service advisor was very nice, but I am frustrated after such a negative check-out experience. My car is just now out of warranty - I'm not sure I'll ever be back to Hendrick for maintenance. More
