PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE HIDDEN COST OF LEASING A VEHICLE IN NC!! I leased a 2012 IS from them valued at $41,000. I do not own the car but in this state the owner (Lexus) can pass the cost of personal property taxes on to the lessee legally. While this should be illegal it is not so please be aware that on a $41,000 dollar vehicle IT WILL COST YOU $600 DOOLARS FOR THE FIRST YAER WHICH RAISES YOUR MONTHLY PAYMET BY $50 A MONTH!! They will tell you that it’s only a couple of hundred and downplay this major increase in price. Please don’t take my word for it. Call 311 and speak to Mecklenburg county tax office directly before making a decision to lease a vehicle from any Hendrick dealership. This tax varies from year to year and is assessed based on the blue book value of the car. For 2012 it’s 1.23% so you can do the math on how much more this will cost you per year. Now I am not expecting them to know every counties tax laws but they most certainly should know Mecklenburg counties as the majority of the customer live within that county. More
I purchased my GS 350 on 1/30/12 from Greg Davis who was great. After driving the vehicle a few months I decided I did not like the color. I went back to see Greg, and was told that he no longer worked fo great. After driving the vehicle a few months I decided I did not like the color. I was introduced to JJ I told him that I had just purchased my vehicle, about 60 days ago and wanted to look at another vehicle in a different color He took me to his office ran some numbers, and told me I would have to pay $3,000 dollars out of pocket. I thanked him , and left. I then went to Lexus at Northlake, and spoke with Nick. Nick found me another vehicle which was the ultra luxury package, and I love it. More

Hendrick Lexus went above, beyond, and out of their way to send someone to pick my car up and drop off a loaner to take care of all/any issues I had with my Lexus. World class service!!! A true Lexus Elite dealership. Treats their customers good all the time. If it wasn't for them I would really consider buying another brand after what the other Lexus dealer did. I will make this as brief as possible without going into to much detail. I have purchased 3 new Lexus vehicles in the past, and all went well. But my last experience buying a new 2010 GX was a total nig to much detail. I have purchased 3 new Lexus vehicles in the past, and all went well. But my last experience buying a new 2010 GX was a total nightmare. I will never return and will tell everybody how poorly I was treated to the point that I actually considered contacting Mr. Hendrick myself. They even sent me a bogus form letter after they realized I had purchased from Flow instead. Everyone who sees this letter is appalled at their unprofessionalism and cannot believe what they are reading. Please be aware of dirty tactics. They may have gotten too big to sell vehicles any more unless at full sticker. You do have competition, and I and others will go elsewhere. More
I called to arrange a test drive of the new CT200h with a rep, but when my spouse and I arrived the rep was "busy with another appointment" although I was on time for the appointment I scheduled with her. Jay Miano told me that he would assist me with questions until she was available. Jay, however, took over the appointment and I never spoke with anyone else. I drove the CT on the lot and confirmed it was the car for me. I explained to Jay I wanted the car, but only in red with ecru Nuluxe interior. He asked me to step inside so that he could search to see about how long it would take to get that model for me. He seated us at a desk and disappeared for about 20 minutes. He returned with a single page form and began a dissertation on the Hendrick Lexus customer experience. He explained that in order to search for the model I sought and give me a timeframe, Hendrick Lexus required a "good faith commitment" from me that I was ready to purchase a Lexus. I explained that I would be buying a CT but only the one I wanted. He turned the form so that I could read it. It was a purchase agreement and he explained that he would need me not only to sign this contract, but also to pay Hendrick $2,500 as a "good faith" deposit before he could even search the database. I was somewhat taken aback that I would need to sign a contract and pay a deposit to obtain such seemingly innocuous information. Jay assured me the contract did not bind me to buy a car and the deposit was fully refundable. I questioned their necessity if that were truly the case. As an attorney, I also questioned what I was being told. I requested a copy of the form to think about it and left the dealership. Once home, I emailed Jay and expressed my concern at the entire experience. I advised that I was alarmed that Hendrick needed me to pay them deposits to even do business with me. I advised that I was accustomed to doing business based on the the parties' acting in good faith and that I wasn't accustomed to deposit-based transactional philosophies like that he had described earlier. I offered Hendrick another opportunity to deal with me in normal business fashion without this good faith payment philosophy. I received a response the following morning in which Jay confirmed this would be the only way that Hendrick would do business if I were to purchase a red CT200h from them. I did not respond to Jay's email and I have heard absolutely nothing further from him. Thereafter, I conducted a simple Internet search and was able to locate the model I sought in Atlanta and Greensboro. I negotiated with both and a mere 3 days later purchased the car I wanted (EXACTLY as I wanted) at a great price from Flow Lexus in Greensboro. So, although I live in Charlotte, I was forced to leave the city to do business as reasonable people do business and to get the car I wanted when I wanted it. Not only did Hendrick Lexus lose a single car purchase, they lost a customer for life. I will NOT take my new Lexus there for service and I will never consider a Hendrick dealer for a future purchases, which I make about every 3 years. This is my 3rd car purchase from a Flow dealer (Acura, BMW, and now Lexus). Obviously, Flow knows how to treat it's customers. I feel it important to write this review so that my Charlotte neighbors know there is an amazing dealer experience that is real just a shot drive from the city. They no longer must suffer the artificial & contrived dealer experience created for them by the local Lexus dealer. It is certainly worth the drive to truly enjoy the Lexus experience. More

While Peggy had a great personality, I was completel value and the invoice for the Lexus ES, I visited Hendrick Lexus and worked with Peggy Iverson. While Peggy had a great personality, I was completely insulted when the trade-in value for my vehicle was presented to me. Not only was the pricing unfair and not market value, the pricing for the ES was much higher than other dealers I spoke with. I ended up purchasing my Lexus out of the Charlotte area and saved thousands! Therefore, I would NOT recommend this dealership for a good deal. More

He did not seem pushy but rather more interested in assuring I was satisfied. He was very patient in explaining all the features of the new Lexus to my wife and I after we made our purchase. I appreciate doing business with sales people like Ronald and would defintely be willing to do business with him in the future. More
