My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of working with Raymond Rhett II to purchase our 2013 Lexus IS 250. We had not planned on buying a car at the time, however, we were forced into the market when some Raymond Rhett II to purchase our 2013 Lexus IS 250. We had not planned on buying a car at the time, however, we were forced into the market when someone hit and totaled our 2010 edition of the car. Raymond was simply wonderful. He was patient as we tried both new and used cars. Gave us good counsel on what to look for. Understood as we "shopped" for deals around the state -- and as we did my wife and I kept commenting to each other that we sure hope it worked out at Lexus of Charleston because so very much enjoyed working with Raymond and wanted him to have the deal. As it worked out, we ended up buying a car that had a bit more equipment than we really wanted / needed, and it cost a bit more than we planned on paying, but Raymond had worked hard to accommodate us it was more than a fair deal. Best car buying experience ever. More

Drove another car to compare but ended up buying the original one I had chosen. Mine was a Certified Pre-Owned ES350. Came with a 100,000 mile warranty (had 20,000 miles on it) for 3 years. I extended it to 5 years for a nominal fee. My next Lexus will definitely come from Lexus of Charleston. Thanks again Richie and the rest of the team I met. The typical 'used/pre-owned' car buying experience is probably somewhere between terrible, and needles in your eye. In an industry that is seemingly full of hard selling, cheap suit type sales people, it's refreshing to see that Lexus of Charleston has its act together. I walked in on a Saturday, unsure of what I even wanted to look at. Danielle Hershon did a fantastic job of listening to what was on my mind, and directed me to the appropriate options. The amount of knowledge that she had was really impressive. I don't know how anyone can remember so much about so many different individual cars. Mind boggling. She also did a great job hanging on while I test drove an is350c and sped around corners/highways...parking lots. She is very easy going, engaging, friendly, and extremely professional. She also laughed at my dad's terrible jokes. Hats off! When we came back on Monday to give it another spin, she carved out some time so we could get any other questions answered, and then scheduled another time later that day so we could take care of all the requisite paperwork. I really felt that the entire team came up to bat. I was introduced to the people in service, other sales people, the GSManager, and even the prior owner of my soon-to-be car. Service after the sale has been terrific. Danielle has been very thorough in making sure all of our items on our punchlist were taken care of, follow up emails, letters...etc. Couldn't have asked for a better car buying experience. One thing that also bears mentioning is that my family has been getting their cars serviced at Lexus of Charleston for the past 7 years. Even though they purchased their cars out of state, they have never had a customer service ssue, and really felt taken care of all these years. This goes a long way. A new car is one thing. But when as that car ages, gains a lot of wear and tear on it, and needs repairs beyond routine maintenance: It's good to know that you will be taken care of. Thanks! More
