She was professional, friendly, and informative, helping me realize I was ready to purchase my first Lexus. I very much enjoyed working with Lloyd Walker and was sold on the Lexus product when he told me has been with Lexus of Charleston for 20 years because he likes the product and the organization; this spoke volumes to me. Jeff Bast made the financing an ease and informed me of the other available options that could be included in the financing, i.e., warranty. For as long as I can remember, I have loved the body style of the RX and am so thrilled to finally be a proud owner of the Lexus product. Lexus, but most importantly, Lexus of Charleston has a lifetime customer. Thank you for making the experience a joy! More
First of all me and the wife were visiting from spring lake, NC celebrating wife's birthday not expecting to buy a car especially because we came down in a rental, we both decided to look for the Lexus de lake, NC celebrating wife's birthday not expecting to buy a car especially because we came down in a rental, we both decided to look for the Lexus dealership just to kill some time, I GPS the dealership and we found it with no problem, once we arrived we were approached by Sam which greeted us in a very warm gentle professional way, he allowed us to test drive several SUV which was the RX class models and was very patience with us, after driving the SUV's my wife was not satisfied with any of them, Sam said that well it looks like you probably want be buying a car today and gave us his card to stay in touch and come be if possible to do business when ready, we then started looking at the GS 350's and my wife saw one that was out of our price range and wanted to test drive it anyway, once took it for a ride she fell in love with it, so when we returned to the lot and we got out Sam said lets go inside and look at some numbers because we had just come out of a chapter 13, we sat there and prayed that all would go well and the next thing we knew was Paul coming to get us to come to his office and cut a deal with the GS 350 2011 and he did, we were totally blown away, my wife actually cried because of the good news that we were about to become proud owners of the vehicle that she always wanted as far as a Lexus, we can't thank Sam, Paul, and Greg enough for all the love, professionalism, respect and just genuine customer service that we received, it overwhelmed us and it was the best birthday present that my wife ever received since we been married for 24 years, thank you all for helping us purchase our vehicle which we are very satisfied with and loving every minute of driving it, this has been a life changing experience for us, GOD BLESS you all and I pray that GOD will BLESS everyone that played a part in helping us by making our dreams come true. Dave Mills is a low key, professional salesman. He never makes you feel pressured but rather he is there to help you through the process. I had a car that I was giving to my daughter after my purchase and makes you feel pressured but rather he is there to help you through the process. The process of acquiring a new car can be intimidating to even the most seasoned shopper. David Mills at Lexus of Charleston actively involved me in the entire process and he was very careful to guide me in even the most seasoned shopper. David Mills at Lexus of Charleston actively involved me in the entire process and he was very careful to guide me in the prioritization of what I needed in a car, what I wanted in a car, and what the decision points would be. All auto purchases involve tradeoffs and by the end of the decision process I felt that I had the vehicle that had the fewest tradeoffs and was in the price range that made me comfortable. I had no buyers' remorse because the car I bought was the right car for me, at the right price. The Finance and Insurance Manager, Paul Southern, worked extremely hard to make sure I had every financial tool at my disposal and I did not wonder if I got the best deal. He was very open about the financial elements and was willing to try multiple comparative scenarios. I know I got the best deal. Lexus of Charleston understands that the time spent with the salesperson is intense and very focused, but that in fact the Service Manager and his staff will become very important going forward. David Mills made certain that I was comfortable in the service department, introduced me to key employees, and gave me an overview of what I could expect when the car needs servicing. The service experience is what often determines long term loyalty and David made sure I would be as welcome and comfortable in the Service area as I was in the Showroom. I purchased the CT200 Hybrid. This car is really quite remarkable. The fuel economy ratings are real and it runs on regular gas. There is ample "quickness" to the car, it is very nimble, has a sharp turning radius, and quite comfortable. Originally I did not think I would want the NAV system but now I would not buy a Lexus without it. The voice recognition commands are simple and effective. The NAV gives timely and accurate advice; no more going past the intersection that you wanted to turn onto. I decided to lease this vehicle. I believe that state and federal laws are going to make it essential that cars take over distracting tasks such as viewing GPS and texting, as well as augmenting human factors such as braking and lane changing. For that reason I know that in 36 months the technology will have advanced and I will be in a good financial position to take advantage of that in a new Lexus. Well done David. I am a satisfied customer and am enjoying running around town in a car that fits into parking spaces, that uses little fuel, that has lots of pep, plenty of storage, extremely safe, lots of gadgets, and a really sporty and cool body (the car, not me!). One last point. David Mills was low pressure, very informed, and always professional. He was prompt for our appointments and responded to my requests and questions. I believe that this is the culture of Lexus of Charleston. Before I left with the car a specialist had spent almost an hour showing me every feature and setting up preferences. This was done in a designated area that was comfortable, not in a hot parking lot. Since this was my first hybrid there was a learning curve but by the time I drove off the lot I felt great. More
