Again, a simple oil change turned into costly repairs that are questionable. I have paid thousands of dollars to this dealership on repairs recommended by service advisors. I was considering trading th that are questionable. I have paid thousands of dollars to this dealership on repairs recommended by service advisors. I was considering trading this vehicle in on a new Honda and didn't want to spend a lot of money on expensive repairs. In response to this, the service advisor said I would get the money back on the trade in. I have since found this to be false. This has been a sickening, disgusting experience. It is sad that service advisors have to sell up for commissions taking advantage of loyal customers. Several years ago I questioned the need for a battery and brakes recommended by a service advisor. A local mechanic said they didn't need replacing and they are still functioning today. Many other repairs have been questionable, but scare tactics are used to encourage the customer to agree to additional, costly repairs. Maintaining a Honda has been a very expensive and unpleasant experience. Customers should not agree to additional repair work prior to getting several opinions and estimates. After years of dealing with Honda repair issues I am seriously thinking about going back to Toyota for my next vehicle. More
