My wife and I had no intention of purchasing a new car when we stopped in at Pompano Honda on Tuesday, October 19, 2010. We just wanted to look at new cars, and had every intention of going to a number of when we stopped in at Pompano Honda on Tuesday, October 19, 2010. We just wanted to look at new cars, and had every intention of going to a number of different agencies throughtout the day and evening. Our lease on our current Honda is up in January 2011, so we wanted to get a start on the process. We had the good fortune of running into David Emmer, a salesperson at the agency. We didn't know him and never dealt with him. Two hours after meeting with him, we agreed to a new 3-year lease on a 2010 Honda Civic. David was knowledgeable, patient, professional and treated us with great respect. He answered all our questions while my wife test-drove the car and then after we returned to the office. So we went from gatherers of information to purchasers all in the same visit. Never did get to the other agencies we had on our list, including Hyundai, Toyoto, Ford and Nissan. My husband and I walked into Pompano Honda uncertain about which Honda we wanted to buy. Al patiently let both of us drive an Accord, a Civic and a CRV. We still weren't sure. He gave us brochures on the cars and checked to see what cars and colors he had in stock. We went home that night to decide and told Al we'd be back. He was very understanding and did not pressure us to decide or buy at that time. I called him the next day to say we'd be in that evening. He graciously gave up his night off to take care of us. We had chosen the Accord, and he had the two cars we were deciding on freshly washed and waiting at the door for us to see and drive again. We had a long negotiating session and he was polite, patient and very friendly all through the discussions. He made our car purchase a pleasure. We walked in to Pompano Honda after an unpleasant experience at another dealership earlier that week. We expressed our desire for a simple, non-hassle transcation and that is exactly what we found. Allen helped us find the xact vehicle we were looking for and we paid exactly what we told them we were comfortable paying, not a cent more- Well ok, 81 cents more, but whatever :). We have never gone in and walked out with a vehicle in one visit but the service and no nonsense attitude of this transcation made that possible. More
