Dealer employee broke my hood pull handle My hood would not open. I stopped in to the dealer, an employee pulled so hard on the hood handle inside the van that it broke. They did not take responsibility, they charged me $145.00 to "investigate the problem." I waited 3.5 hours in there waiting area only to be told they don't know what the problem is but it would cost me $561.89 or more to fix the problem. I told the service agent NO and drove away. I will not go back to them for service or buy another van from them. I did buy my current 2018 van from them for just over $48,000. Anthony Johnson was the "service advisor" I would never work with him again. I have ordered the part from another location, they are doing the install for $295.00 or less, including the part. I wasted $145.00 with Hendricks, NEVER AGAIN. UPDATE 05/01/2020 - Just picked up my car from the service center that I selected to replace the hood release handle (broken by a Hendricks employee) and cable, it only cost $130.88. THIS IS LESS THAN THE $145.00 HENDRICKS CHARGED ME TO "INVESTIGATE" THE PROBLEM. I TRUELY FEEL I WAS RIPED OFF BY HENDRICKS AND IF I HAD THEM DO THE REPAIR THEY WOULD HAVE CHARGED AT LEAST $561.89 PER THEIR ESTIMATE. More
