Not real happy with the Hendrick service department. I took my Ram 1500 truck in for service on Tuesday, May 26th due to a check engine light and sluggish starting. I was told there was a 2 day back log a took my Ram 1500 truck in for service on Tuesday, May 26th due to a check engine light and sluggish starting. I was told there was a 2 day back log and I would need to leave the truck. I left the truck and heard nothing for 5 1/2 days. I called to check on the progress and was told the truck was still awaiting a technician to look at it. I was told they would get on it and determine what the hold up was and would call me back. I’m still waiting on that call!! I finally received a call the next day telling me the truck needed a battery! It took 7 days to tell me I needed a battery! And to add insult to injury I was charged $340.00 for the service and never received an apology for taking 7 1/2 days to replace a battery. I have owned 3 Ram 1500’s and this is the worst service I have received. Lesson learned: stop at the Auto Zone first!! Second Lesson: Find an independent garage owner to service my vehicle!! More

Sub-par service dept went through the effort of actually making an appt for a jeep (that I just purchased from the dealership 6 months ago) due to performance issues and w went through the effort of actually making an appt for a jeep (that I just purchased from the dealership 6 months ago) due to performance issues and warranty work. When I arrived at the service dept. I was told that I would have to leave it there for 2-3 days before they could even look at the issues and until they confirmed that it was a warranty item, they wouldn't be able to provide a loaner/rental car(ie- id have to go without a vehicle for several days before they could even look at my new jeep). Being that I live in the real world and cant go without a vehicle for that period of time, i requested that they simply change the oil and rotate the tires. 4 hours later I pick up my vehicle and return home only to realize they didn't rotate the tires, air pressure was different in every tire and not to mention the "next service" sticker was only half way on the glass and said my next oil change was due at 6K miles(it only has 4K currently)....that's just for starters.....sadly disappointed with the dealership...
