7 years ago I bought a 2009 M3 (4 dr, 8cylinder! ) from JEFF SHINN at Hendrick BMW on Independence Bv. I absolutely loved driving that car! Jeff and the staff at Hendrick were easy to work with. My service advisor has been LUCA REYER, who has been so helpful to me over the years. He is excellent at his job and makes sure my car and me are taken care of. JEFF remained in touch and it feels more like we are all old friends now. He allows me to test drive the way I need to figure out what works for me. So when a careless/reckless driver "murdered" my little M3 while I was stopped at a stop sign (they made a too fast, too sharp left turn and slammed into my car) I knew who to call. The insurance co declared my M3 "totaled," although Hendrick Luxury Collision (also has had my back when the insurance company (National General) behaved very unprofessionally and actually tried to remove my car from their lot without any report from an appraiser, conversation with me, my approval or any agreement) says they CAN fix it. It only had 54,000 miles on it and was in pristine condition! I knew I could call Jeff and find a suitable replacement that would suit my current needs. I will just sell my M3 so some lucky person can have it repaired and enjoy it for many more miles. That engine is rare and it is fire! Maybe I will fix it and keep that also. I love driving it. JEFF SHINN knows me pretty well by now and I knew the vehicle I wanted to test drive. He located one in a color I thought was not my style. However, I wanted to at least drive it to see if we should go looking for it in another color. When I saw it in person and drove it, it grew on me. I bought my Certified Pre-owned X4 M40i and I look forward to driving this on some longer trips. I still miss my M3, but it hurt me to see it banged up and my needs have changed a little from a race car to a longer distance driver. When it came to the finance part, Mr. Nair( I am sorry, I can not remember how to spell your first name!) was calm, no nonsense, and assisted me to fit MY personal needs, not just a cookie cutter finance plan. Overall, JEFF SHINN has helped me purchase two cars and he works with my crazy work schedule to make it happen. I usually know what I am looking for and Jeff has found it for me while I am at work. Then I just have to come test it out (I have actually only had to drive about 4 cars total combined to hone in on my two choices) and buy it. Jeff is a gem and knows his stuff with many years of experience under his belt. Thank you to the Hendrick Crew and for the continued service. P.S: for this review , it asked about a trade in.
