My last lease had some service issues and Luca Reyner ALWAYS bent over backwards to help me. He is one of the main reasons that I leased another BMW. Every employee that I have come in contact with is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Thank you, Angela Ohmer More
Solid Professional Organization I have bought 6 BMW's over the years from Hendrick on Independence and could not be happier with the sales and service interactions I have had. How o I have bought 6 BMW's over the years from Hendrick on Independence and could not be happier with the sales and service interactions I have had. How often does someone look forward to coming in for service but I actually look forward to a service appointment with Saad Mubarek. I have complele confidence in Saad and know that he will assure that everything done to the car will be perfect. They just don't come any better than Saad. More

This wasn't our first time buying a BMW so I am accustom to the level of service that you receive when buying a BMW. During this car buying transaction, I worked Travis Flowers in buying our i3 BMW. I am pretty technically savvy and already own one electric vehicle (Volt) so I knew a pretty good bit about the i3 & electric cars in general. Knowing this even though Travis might not have known the very very detailed questions I asked, he made sure to work tirelessly to make sure all my questions were answered and even arranged for us to drive the car for 3 days to ensure that it would work with my wife's daily commute. Through out our buying process (extended test drive & buying a car), Travis made sure that we were taken care of and even gave us his cell phone number to make sure that we could get in contact with him. Travis was the ultimate professional and truly a great service adviser that I would recommend to my closest friends and family. I"m hoping I get the chance to work with Travis again in the futre when we trade in my EV for another i3. More
Sold Me BMW That Broke Down in Less than 24 hrs 2/3/2015 Update 1/30/15: Used Car bought from Hendricks Honda(BMW transferred from Hendricks BMW for purchase) 1/31/15: Car Breaks Down (less than 2/3/2015 Update 1/30/15: Used Car bought from Hendricks Honda(BMW transferred from Hendricks BMW for purchase) 1/31/15: Car Breaks Down (less than 24 hrs later). Dealer says vehicle will be towed to another dealership Monday for repairs 2/2/15: Contacted selling dealership, dealership initially went to for repairs, and destination dealership and noone able to locate car until approximately 3pm (which means car still hasnt been diagnosed) 2/2/15: Contacted by Hendricks and assured everything would be resolved. 2/3/15: Contacted dealership early AM, still no diagnosis. 2/3/15: End of business day. No update or follow up calls from any of the three dealerships involved to provide a status on newly purchased car that broke down less than 24 hrs later (no sense of urgency). 2/4/15 Update 2/4/15: Contacted by GM of Hendrick Honda of Hickory (dealership that sold BMW). He was very apologetic but unable to provide status of car, because he has not been able to obtain an update from Hendricks BMW. Assured me that issue has been escalated. 2/4/15: Received a call from BMW service department saying it is a injector issue, but there is no ETA on repair. Diagnosis with no resolution is not a proper diagnosis??? Have not received any direct communication from BMW GM or Service department manager. BMW has had car 3 days and cannot provide an ETA for a repair? More
Worst Experience of my Life This has been by far the worst experience of my life regarding any car dealership. I will take my business somewhere else when buying my next car this This has been by far the worst experience of my life regarding any car dealership. I will take my business somewhere else when buying my next car this year. What upset me the most is the disregard for customer satisfaction by BOTH the service reps as well as the Management. IF BY CHANCE YOU GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANY SERVICE, AVOID MATT CUNNINGHAM LIKE THE PLAGUE. HIS DISREGARD FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, PROFESSIONALISM, ALONG WITH THE LACK OF COURTESY TO AT LEAST RETURN A PHONE CALL IS APPALLING! Here is my story, for those of you who have a minute to see what I mean. I dropped my car off Monday morning for a diagnostic on an issue I was having (noise coming from my front axle). After speaking to a service specialist (Matt), he said that they are backed up and that they they will get to it first thing Tuesday morning and will give me a call sometime Tuesday. So I waited all day Tuesday... nothing. I then called Wednesday morning to see the status of the diagnostic, and Matt was unavailable so I left him a voice-mail asking him to please return my call. Thursday comes around, and towards the end of the day I call again. Matt was "unavailable" again and I told the representative who answered the phone that I was upset and would like to be on hold until he becomes "available". 30 seconds later Matt picks up the phone with the diagnostics. I had the car in a fender bender accident a year back (the issue existed before the accident and wasn't covered by the insurance) and I literally just had the fender and hood replaced and painted. He says that since the repairs were in the same vicinity of the issue (axle was making noise) that the warranty would not cover it and it would cost me $1200 plus tax to replace. He continued to say that "even if we processed it, BMW corporate would deny the claim" I asked him if he could please at least try and he replied, "uhh..... no" So I asked when I could pick up the car, he said that they had to put it back together and that he would call me once its done. So I waited and finally had enough so I got dropped off at the dealership (thank God for Uber). Matt was nowhere to be found. I asked the manager where I can find him and also tried to explain to her the situation I had with her service specialist and how frustrated I was. She just told me to wait until she found Matt. Matt comes strolling through the waiting room and asks me to follow him to his office. He gives me a $95 invoice for a further detailed ENGINE DIAGNOSTICS without any diagnostic paperwork on the issues the car was having. TireKingdom gave me more detailed diagnostic when going for an oil change than was handed me by Matt. After I payed the bill (I was so furious, I know that if I started letting out all the steam built up inside, security would have to escort me out) He just hands me the keys and says that if I consider doing the repair, to call him personally. So it's pouring rain outside and I have to hunt the entire BMW dealership for my car. Upon arriving in my car, I have a sign that says "Thanks for your business, your car has been washed and vacuumed". The car was neither washed nor vacuumed (as it usually is when taking it down to the dealer). More
BMW Customer Pledge? Good luck at Hendrick BMW Your buying process is going to be amazing. Hendrick BMW is going to treat you like royalty when you buy a car from them. Good luck when Hendrick BM Your buying process is going to be amazing. Hendrick BMW is going to treat you like royalty when you buy a car from them. Good luck when Hendrick BMW needs to stand behind the service they provide. Bought 2011 BMW, my dream car. It is now going on 3 years of my “dream car” which I purchased from, and I have had all services provided by Hendrick BMW on Independence Blvd Charlotte, NC. Friday, September 5, ABS/BRAKE light comes on as I am driving. I call for service. Service agent, Travis Flowers, gets my car for service Monday, September 8th. Tuesday, September 9th, I hear no updates from Travis. I leave him a voicemail. Wednesday, September 10th, I hear no updates from Travis, I leave him a voicemail. Thursday, September 11th, Travis calls to let me know my car is ready, and that Hendrick BMW has replaced a defective rear speed sensor. I asked Travis why he did not keep me updated, and did not return any of my calls, his answer was “I guess I didn’t get them.” Friday, September 12th, I pick up my car from Hendrick BMW, heading home for the weekend. BING! Same ABS/BRAKE light comes back on. I call Travis Flowers to let him know, and I get his voicemail. SHOCKER! Monday morning, September 15th, I call Travis and get his voicemail. Tuesday, September 16th, I call and ask for Travis’s manager, Rusty Reeves. Rusty apologizes for Travis’s poor communication, and schedules for me to bring my car back to Hendrick BMW Thursday, September 18th. Thursday, I drop my car off with service manager, Rusty Reeves, who shuffles me off to “his most experienced service agent,” David Owen. David takes my car, asking the same questions as the previous week, and lets me know there is a recall on my model. Why did Hendrick BMW not bring that to my attention when they had my car for a whole week prior? Rusty and David tell me it is rare that a customer has to bring their car back with the same lights/errors so quickly, that usually Hendrick BMW is so proficient with diagnosing errors. Here is it, week 2, my car is back at Hendrick BMW for the same lights. David calls Friday, September 19th, to let me know my car is going to take past the weekend to repair, and handle the recalled part. David says he wants to keep it a day longer to drive it, and ensure the lights don’t come on again. Thursday, September 25th, David calls to let me know my car is ready. The recalled part has been replaced, and the other rear speed sensor is the reason the ABS/BRAKE light came on again. I am assured my Rusty and David that Hendrick BMW has checked over my car to make sure the lights/errors are not to return. Friday, September 26th, I am driving to work. BING! Same ABS/BRAKE lights. By now, it is into the 3rd week, and I am trying to understand if there is another rear speed sensor that needs replaced? After all, I am just a young woman, and they will treat you as such when you take your car in for repairs. I call David, who is not in the office yet, and the service agent asks me if I want to schedule another time to bring my car for service. I asked her to have service agent, David Owen, and service manager, Rusty Reeves, call me back. Rusty calls hours later to schedule a time for me to bring my car back for service. REALLY? Service manager, this is how you handle the same lights for the 3rd week in a row? For all those keeping count, this is the 3rd time the SAME ABS/BRAKE light has returned on in 3 weeks. For those keeping count, Hendrick BMW has had my car more in the month of September 2014 than I have, for the same ABS/BRAKE light. I will NEVER set foot back in Hendrick BMW on Independence Blvd in Charlotte, NC to listen to empty promises and be treated like a dumb female. Warning for anyone looking for the BMW Customer Pledge from Hendrick BMW. As you can see, when it comes to reoccurring repairs, they are just at a loss and so is the customer service that comes along with their knowledge of the repairs. More
Great Performance in a Unique Situation I needed to help a good friend find a specific car and after a lot of looking, found something for her at Hendrick BMW. After a bumpy start with one I needed to help a good friend find a specific car and after a lot of looking, found something for her at Hendrick BMW. After a bumpy start with one pre-owned sales advisor, I connected with Graeme Bosch and it was smooth sailing after that. Within a couple of phone calls between Graeme, my friend in Georgia, and me, we had a deal that satisfied everyone involved. By the following day, my friend came to Charlotte, saw her new car and drove home smiling. Nice job, Hendrick!!! More
