My 2019 X5 sent me a message that my battery need to be replaced. I called and made an appointment for 10 days later. A week later a message appeared on the screen that I should take the vehicle in that da replaced. I called and made an appointment for 10 days later. A week later a message appeared on the screen that I should take the vehicle in that day for service. The vehicle was drivable, but it would not accelerate and the ride was rough. Out of extreme caution, I parked the car and called a tow service. I called my service advisor Jeff Limthong and told him the vehicle was on the way. I really felt that something was wrong with the suspension of the vehicle. I prepared myself for a huge repair bill. The next morning Jeff call me to let me know the vehicle would be ready for pickup that day and all it needed was a new battery. They ran a full diagnostic checkup on the vehicle, and everything was fine. He explained that the battery gives power to so much of the suspension system and my failure to act created the issue. Jeff and the trusty mechanics at Hendrick BMW came through for me as they always have. More
