On Sunday, February 14 2021 I went to Hemet Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to purchase a new Dodge Challenger, that was advertised on the internet. I had an appointment for around 12:00 noon. with no particula Dodge Jeep Ram to purchase a new Dodge Challenger, that was advertised on the internet. I had an appointment for around 12:00 noon. with no particular sales manager, I was told to just go to the reception desk. When I arrived I was told to sign my name on a list, and someone would be with me. I waited over an hour. I was outside and a salesperson approached me asked if I was being helped I told her NO. She said she was waiting on two customers, and attempted to assist me, and took me to an offsite lot to the vehicle that I wanted to purchase. We drove the vehicle back, and then she turned me over to another sales person named Michael, who did not appear interested in helping me. He took some information down, and let me wait around for about another 45 minutes, at that point I told my sister who was with me that I am ready to leave. We walked out of the dealership, no one attempted to approach us, we were never even contacted. I did send an e-mail back to the internet person that I originally made my appointment with, the following day, and she wanted me to come back to the dealership. I told her that the dealership has my information of the trade in and vehicle that I want to purchase to call me with the figures, and have someone call me. I never did hear from the dealership. I ended up contacting a dealership in Ventura, CA that made fantastic deal. I had to drive over 3 1/2 hours to get to the Ventura, but it was worth it, after what Hemet Dodge put me through. I also worked in the car business for over 10 years, so I do know what type of customer service a dealership should provide, and Hemet Dodge, sales force should be ashamed of them selves for letting business walk out the door.
