I visited many dealerships in San Diego but made my purchase from John Hine. My experience with Dale was unbelievable he is an amazing salesman and person. He related to me and my situation and was ve purchase from John Hine. My experience with Dale was unbelievable he is an amazing salesman and person. He related to me and my situation and was very personable. He did perfect in my opinion at trying to sell me a vehicle but not shoving it down my throat like other dealers did. I understand that it is their job but he did amazing at walking the line of being respectful and pushing to make a sale. To be honest he really sold me and I bought my vehicle the same day. Which is impressive since I was not planning on making a purchase for another 3 months. So needless to say I am very impressed with Dale and will be referring all my friends to him if any are looking to make a new car purchase. But Dale wasn't the only person I had the privilege of dealing with Crystal was amazing as well. She was very helpful with the financing portion of my visit. She made everything amazingly easy for me and was honest with me. She didn't try and give me a lot of extra options that I don't need. It was refreshing dealing with such honest and kind people. I truly enjoyed my visit to John Hine Mazda and will be coming back for as long as I live in the area. More

From the moment we entered the lot Andres' friendly smile was already greeting us. He showed us many options and was ready and willing to show us anything we were interested in. I was not expecting to have such a wonderful friendly car salesman, he really made my priorities the agenda. I was able to work with John and get all the questions answered that I had about the Mazda 6 I was interested in. He had great insight and recommendations. John had his colleague, Rod, available the next day to help when my family came in because he wan't working that day. Rod was also extremely helpful and knowledgeable. In my experience it is rare to find service like that at a car dealership. Both were also very respectful and helpful in directing me to the trim level that was best for my needs and price. I didn't feel like they were wanting to up-sell me just for their benefit. When I purchased the car I was excited but there is always the painful part of the process when you go through the financing team to get signatures and choose additional warranty options. My experience there was excellent. Crystal was so friendly and didn't rush me through the process but was efficient in helping me pick what options were best for me. She made some great suggestions and I am very grateful for her help. Overall I don't think my experience could have been better, unless of course they gave me the car for free! I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone considering a Mazda! More
We were extremely pleased with our experience for several reasons. We were able to purchase the car we had been looking for, for less than we had priced out, and unlike other car dealers we visited (Toyota reasons. Other dealers were slick and very pushy which totally turned us off. Arien knew about the car, was straightforward and very helpful! More
Mary is a friendly service advisor. The courtesy driver (although I did not need to use it) was very friendly. Sometimes the other service advisors are not so friendly. I brought in my 2007 Mazda 3 with 130k miles for a general inspection and also because it was slow to start. He turned out to be right, just from a verbal description of the problems. He assumed it was a fuel pump issue, and after keeping the car overnight to test pressure, it turned out he was correct. But by the time I was on the phone with him the next morning he told me that there was a warranty that covered my car up to 150k miles. The cost of this repair, due to some complications, would have been $1,100, but because I took my car to the dealership, I walked away from this particular fix in great shape. Needless to say that a warranty would go unnoticed at a regular mechanic and that I'd be out well over a grand. Thanks Michael! More
I ask myself why I continue to take my Mazda to the dealership to get it serviced. I think about all those commercials on TV that promise so much for so little. But then I go and see Mary. Mary recognizes me and remembers my name, every single time I go to service. She is always honest with me, makes sure I take advantage of loyalty cash, reminds me of stuff that needs to be done, and she never beats around the bush. I appreciate how she will tell me everything I need to know or do, no matter what. I am now on my second Mazda. Like the one before, I bought this one brand new from John Hine. I had a quick and easy sales experience, in fact for this newest one, we did all the negotiating, approvals, practically everything but signing the docs all over email. I bought a car from John Hine while I was at work. I think that's pretty cool. The Internet sales guy even did an appraisal estimate for the trade in. The collision center, top notch, so easy to deal with, as I now come to expect from every department at John Hine, no matter what I go there for. It is really awesome when they deal with your insurance company for you and just get the job done, and done perfect. I don't think I will ever go anywhere else to get my car taken care of, I can't think of a reason to give all this up. More
