Great first visit We recently bought a lightly used Mazda from an out of town dealership and wanted to find a place to get it serviced well. John Hine is the Mazda deal We recently bought a lightly used Mazda from an out of town dealership and wanted to find a place to get it serviced well. John Hine is the Mazda dealership closest to us, so we thought we'd visit them to get an initial inspection of the vehicle and see what the place was like. I had already contacted Nicole (one of the service advisors) via phone beforehand with some questions about service contracts. She was very helpful, especially given that I wasn't even a customer yet. When we brought our car in, we met her in person and were even more impressed. The service was quick and very fairly priced. Because our manufacturer's warranty was about to expire, I was probably a little too paranoid about things I'd noticed that might be a problem. In the end, everything turned out to be fine. Nicole was very understanding. So, we're sticking with John Hine for our Mazda service. Can't say too much after only one visit, but things look really good so far. I'll update here if anything changes. More

No stereotypical car salesman mentality. Andre was the sales rep and did a very good job. He was professional, informative and best of all just a cool dude. The best part of a company are the people they hire. They are the ones that help you out, that you get to know and ultimately play a big part in whether or not you want to do business with a company. He answered my questions, walked me through the financing and made it an easy going experience. I have nothing but good things to say, and would/will recommend JHM, and Andre, to anyone I know that's looking to buy a car. More

I called Rod on Saturday and still no Speed3 available, so Rod then recommends me to Wescott and they have the last remaining 2013 Speed3 available! Next thing you know I am driving home in my new Speed3. Thank you Mr. Rocha! More

I was torn between the Mazda 3 and the Mazda 6 and asked Dwayne if I could test drive both of them to see which one I wanted. It was nice that Dwayne took my request seriously and quickly got me trying both cars. After the test drives, I made my decision we moved onto the price negotiation. Dwayne did not pressure me or made me feel uncomfortable during the process. He let me do the talking, and I told him what my preferences are, how much I am willing to pay, and we were able to quickly settle to a price that both parties could be happy with. Overall, it was a great experience and I was out of the dealership with my new Mazda 6, in no time. More

We felt no pressure - he is very knowledgeable and personable and we felt very comfortable dealing with him. He was also helpful with giving us an approximate price and approximate trade in value within minutes. We left the lot without feeling pressure to buy right then and there and feeling very good about the whole experience. Two days later, we went back to complete the purchase. Rod was there to help us through the entire transaction. Again, he was very courteous, sweet, and helpful. We had a deal in mind when we came in and he helped us work through the details and get the deal that we wanted. The next hurdle in every car purchase is the finance person. I also cringe when it comes to that step because of the reputation of add-ons and unexpected costs. Instead, Keith was friendly and funny, and saved us more money with a rebate that we didn't even anticipate. I would recommend this dealership and especially those two great guys. Oh, and we love the car, too! (We left behind our Honda Civic and drove away in a Mazda 3 hatchback - quite a difference in the fun factor)! More

This ranks as my best experience buying a new car (one of many). More

I was ready to walk in and walk out since I didn't know much about Mazda and was set on heading to the Acura dealership after having already visited Toyota, Honda and Car Max (Mini Cooper, Sonata, Lincoln Hybrid). I had several criteria in mind and when I saw the red with black wheels Mazda 3 in the showroom, I slowed down and decided to give Mazda a chance. The car shape was what I had in mind, but I knew nothing else about the car. That's where Peter stepped in. Unlike all the other experiences I had had with car salespeople, I felt that Peter thoroughly educated me. He answered all of my questions and supported my questions with a little sheet where he drew up the main points so that I could understand and remember the information. Then came the test drive. He started the test drive with a detailed walk-through of the tech package. Again, he was patient in answering my questions. I never felt rushed or that any question was a dumb one. On the test drive, it was helpful for me to be a passenger for the first 3 or so minutes and then switch over to the driver's seat. I appreciated both perspectives. I most appreciated the fact that Peter allowed me to call a friend from the car so that I could test the clarity of the phone connection as well as the voice commands. I was convinced I wanted a Mazda 3 by the end of the test drive. Peter's humor and straightforwardness helped us close the deal easily. There wasn't a lot of back and forth between us, Peter and the manager. A fair price was accepted and a few accessories were thrown in. The whole process went beyond pleasant,...it was refreshing. Thanks to Peter's thorough and clear explanations, I was able to decide on the Mazda 3. Had other dealerships gone into such depth, I might have considered another car first. Lastly, Peter's communication via text messaging (after we left the store) made it convenient to let him know when we would return. He told us he would follow through on something (getting the bumper guard put onto the car before we left with the car, if possible) and he did. Not only did he remember to make it happen but he texted me (as promised) to let me know it was getting done. At the other dealerships, I had to work harder than the seller. Here, it was the reverse. Peter worked hard to answer my questions and get my needs met, and we closed the deal on a gorgeous Mazda 3! Thank you! More

Arien was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly and didn't pressure us. I never expected such a great experience at a dealership. The staff were all friendly, the dealership was clean and Arien helped us through the whole process. We got the car we wanted with the coverage we needed at a great price too. I would definitely recommend John Hine Mazda to anyone and suggest they talk to Arien! More
