Surpassed our expectations! My husband and I had been planning to go car shopping for some time. He had been driving this fun old mustang for years but never had the experience o My husband and I had been planning to go car shopping for some time. He had been driving this fun old mustang for years but never had the experience of owning a new vehicle. As we anticipated our shopping date we had chatted to friends and family who all had negative things to say about the car buying experience. We decided - both being in sales related positions ourselves that like so many sales experiences the outcome would be determined by our attitudes. So today with positive attitudes and no predisposed notions of the potential awkwardness of car buying negotiations we walked into John Hine dealership for both of us our first experience. Arien approached us shortly after we came through the door, but we didn't feel like we had been pounced on, just greeted nicely. We shared with Arien that we were looking for a manual Mazda3 -knowing we were asking for a rare find. Arien shared with us that he too likes Manual transmission and he owned a Mazda too! He found it within a reasonable amount of time and took us out on a plesent test drive. He spoke knowledgably of the vehicle, knew the stats and wanted us to experience a variety of everyday road situations on our drive, very sensible! We wanted to check our one other close vehicle before making our decision so we parted ways for an hour or two while we entertained another option, he didn't get pushy with us but shared that they did have some great offers if we decided to buy today. Well we had the opposite experience at the other place and while we liked the car ok, it couldn't compare to all the bells and whistles that come standard on the Mazda so we called up Arien to make sure he was available for us and came back to see him. We made the decision to have him check the inventory for all manuals, and found one a little above our price range but you know, it's like Arien said it would be bad to wake up and feel like we settled for the car, we wanted to be excited about it when you're spending this much, you really should be happy! He took us for another breif drive in the fancier 3 just to get the feel of it, enjoy the moon roof and the Bose speakers, and we were so happy with it! Negotiations of price were comfortable and breif, we came to an agreement easily the rebates offered were great and we feel like we got a fair price. We came prepared with a car loan pre approved from our credit union but Hine was able to beat that! Crystal was helpful, quick and very friendly! All the important things were reviewed with us before we left and all the extras and service offers were icing on the cake. I believe that an experience is what you make of it and we have only nice things to say about our first car buying experience. I will recommend everyone go to you for the best possible car buying experience. Thank you!! More

It seemed like every time I'd take my car anywhere they would try to upsell repairs and I wouldn't know what really needed to be done. John Hine has been different, particularly Nicole Brand. She tells it to me straight and has kept me a loyal customer for years now. They also haven't given me attitude when I've been paranoid about a noise I can't seem to recreate for them, which is nice. The shuttle service has been really helpful when I have to take my car in on a work day. The drivers have all been friendly and fun to talk to. Believe me, the fact that I'm writing this review despite my normally lazy selfish nature should speak volumes about my overall experience with John Hine. More

The customer service is top notch, the prices, for what you get are very reasonable; my car has 115,000 miles on it and runs like a champ! All my maintenance or repairs are always explained to me, and I feel well cared for when I am at the dealership. More
