He was not only professional; he was incredibly personable, easy going and had a great sense of humor. I had a budget that I needed to stick to and I was able to purchase my car without feeling like I had to haggle or that I was paying too much. Imagine that, a simple stress free car purchase! I would definitely go to John Hine Mazda again for my next car purchase, as well as highly recommend them to others and will hope that Arien Porter is still there doing the deal the way he does. I actually had a bad experience at a competitor dealer and felt they tried to take advantage of me simply because I was female and alone when I test drove. At Hine Mazda, Mike helped by emailing me information that was helpful, and Tyler helped me when I went in, with no pressure or guilt. I even went home to discuss with my fiancé, called Tyler to ask questions I wasn't sure of, and came back the next day. I like to go over all the information before making decisions, and I wasn't made to feel bad for doing that. He was patient and made me feel comfortable. I will never go anywhere else!! In my experience, many car dealerships have salesmen waiting like vultures to pounce the second you drive up. John Hines couldn't have been more different. Peter was AWESOME. Low key but extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Javier, who helped with the final sale, was so friendly and accommodating. They let me take my time looking at cars, understand the features and options, and took me out for two different test drives, no pressure. They came in with a fair and low price, and got me EXACTLY the car I wanted. Now I'm driving my "happy car": a beautiful cherry red Mazda 3 S Grand Touring Hatchback. Big smile on my face. Arrived at 6 pm and was driving my new Mazda 3 Hatchback home by 8 pm. That included at test drive too. This was the easiest, friendliest, and flawless car buying experience I've ever had. More

Easy Peasy!!! My Bride and I had not purchased a car in over 10 years. We spent a lot of time researching the vehicle we wanted and went to virtually every dealersh My Bride and I had not purchased a car in over 10 years. We spent a lot of time researching the vehicle we wanted and went to virtually every dealership in San Diego County. Our last place to visit was John Hine Mazda. It should have been our first! It would have saved a lot of time, and effort (let's face it, buying a car is a daunting and repetitious task). We dropped in just before closing on a Saturday evening and met Rod. He was very pleasant and accommodating. Very patient too I might add. We sat down and "ran the numbers" and it was a bit out of our price range. Rod and Art were able to get us a better rate than our credit union. We were still in need of taking time to think it over. There was no pressure at all to buy. We came back the next day and met with Arien and "sealed the deal". Arien is one of a kind, very energetic and immediately makes you feel at ease and part of the family. Sounds cheezy, but that's how it felt. He took care of all our needs and even washed the car himself prior to us taking possession. Keith in finance was also a pleasure to work with. Very knowledgeable and won't try to push you to buy extras that you don't need. He did get a great deal on an alarm and warranty extension. Overall, this place was great! I would recommend going here to anyone who wants great service and a great product! More

The Toyota dealership contacted Tina about my new Mazda CX-5 2015 and the need for a key to be made. Tina was so helpful when I showed up getting the ball rolling so my wait time was as short as possible. Also, there were a few things I wanted to know about my Mazda and she got all my questions answered. I don't usually go to dealerships for service work on my vehicle however, after my experience there I believe I'm going to start. Overall, excellent customer service and great location. More
