Great experience! I have never looked forward to a car buying experience. In fact, a friend did all of the negotiations for us. But, when we got to the dealership, not only had Rabar found just the car we wanted, he worked out a great deal for us and was incredibly kind and accommodating at every turn. I would highly recommend seeing Rabar at Heartland if you are shopping for a new car. And from me, that's saying a lot. More

Very knowledgable, did a good job making me feel comfortable for the test drive ( first one for me) and seemed like a stand up honest guy. The process was long for getting a car- but that was expected. The finance person, Shawn, was helpful. He even drove 30 miles to my town when it turned out we needed to sign another document! Only complaint was the insurance lady. She was nice, but said she was looking to get us the best rate on insurance for our new car and instead just wanted us to sign up with Allstate ( who she works for). Obviously it makes sense for her to do this (from her perspective). However, she was the last person for us to have to deal with and with 2 overly tired kids, we were all ready to go home, so we left with Allstate insurance- and ended up switching to Geico a few days later which was almost $200 cheaper! Minus the insurance issue, it was a pretty good experience there and we would recommend going to Zach if you are looking to buy a vehicle! More

After putting 355,000 miles on it we decided it was time to purchase a newer version of the same car. Never mind that we were at a Toyota dealership- Rabar found me the perfect replacement and did so quickly and with no pressure. I was so impressed with his ingenuity and his ability to listen and find the car I wanted instead of just selling me the car he wanted me to buy. The entire process was painless and I am thrilled with my "new" car. Rabar is extremely professional, courteous and he goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I am a Heartland Toyota customer for life. Try them out and you will not be disappointed! More
Bait and switch ... Found a car I was interested in online. Called to verify it was still there and available. Was told by the person I was talking to that they had just Found a car I was interested in online. Called to verify it was still there and available. Was told by the person I was talking to that they had just driven it and everything was good on it. I drove over an hour to getto the lot, and ended up working with another pperson who told me the car I came in for was not at any of the lots and was taken to be auctioned off. Ended up buying one of their cars that had just been traded in. First told it couldn't be taken until it had been detailed (their "policy"), then when I was going to leave they decided it could be taken after it was vacuumed out (they missed food wrappers in door pockets and under driver seat). Drove the car home ... the last 3 days, they have been calling me back in for one reason or another. Today, when I got there, the car I was originally wanting was right out front. I asked and they said it had been broken so they were going to send it to auction (information the salesman I worked with had supposedly) but they fixed it and it was again for sale. So ... who was dishonest... the original salesman who said it was there and ran drove fine?, the salesman that we dealt with a few hours later that said the car wasnt on the lot at all and had ben taken to auction?, or the general manager I talked to today that said it had been broken, was going to go to auction and then fixed and offered for sale again? If I was a dealer and this was the problem, I would offer the person the car they wanted ... better to have a happy customer than an upset one. Im already upset that theres so much misinformation and the required multiple trips to get this done ... I didnt write a complaint until today when I saw the car I wanted available and am still being suckered into this other car. Complete bait and switch ... buyer beware. More

He provided information regarding the vehicles history, and printed off a carfax report for my review before I asked for one. The service department did a through job making sure everything was right before I drove it home, no surprises after I drove off the lot. A very pleasant car buying experience from start to finish, just like it should be. More
