Unprecedentedly Good Service I came to Heartland Toyota with a very difficult situation. My old, paid-off car was totaled in a hit and run (on my birthday no less!). I’m fairly poor and currently live on a mix of self-employment and a mix of grants and scholarships from my school (one I commute long distance to.) This problem was the kind of serious that could have forced me to drop out of college despite being top of my class. I was in a bit of an emotional panic. I came to Heartland because I had purchased my last car there and it was a really good car — was going strong before the accident with over 200k miles on it and I’d owned it for more than 5 years. Michael helped me the first day despite not specializing in my situation because it was busy. He showed me cars in my price range and helped me test drive. He was very calming and helpful and showed me there were options for my situation. He helped a lot. I met Rabar later that day and he started to help me tackle my incredibly difficult financial situation. I’d gotten prequalified before arriving, but the loan company immediately started giving trouble over my mishmash of an income. Over 5 days Rabar and the people who helped him were miracle workers. I put down every name I could remember here but I’m sure there were a few more who should be thanked. Rabar gave me a personal number and was always there to communicate and give me updates as we looked for someone who would help me with even a small loan. He came in on his days off. He maneuvered the situation like the pro he is and exactly one week after my accident I went home with a car I really love in my price range with an interest rate half of what I was getting quotes for on my own. Everyone I talked to gave their all for me in this process. I’m not stupid and I do a ton of research before making decisions like this and I know there is no way I could have done this alone and I highly suspect no other dealer could have worked this out for me, either. Rabar was patient but insistent to the point that I knew everything was moving forward at all times and as quickly as possible but I never felt harassed or overly pressured. People I’ve told about this situation are equally shocked at the service and commitment I’ve had here at Heartland. I liked them before, but this guaranteed that as long as I live even remotely locally, Heartland Toyota will be my first stop for any future car needs. Thank you all so very much. More
