Great dealership, but the pointless wait left me fuming The shopping part of my experience at Heartland Toyota was really good; Richard Mckenzie, a fantastic sales rep, was friendly and knowledgeable and he The shopping part of my experience at Heartland Toyota was really good; Richard Mckenzie, a fantastic sales rep, was friendly and knowledgeable and helped me figure out which car was right for me. No pressure tactics, it was all good. We concluded the test drive and negotiation portion of my visit in under an hour. Great, I thought, now I can meet with the financial people, sign the papers and be out of there in, oh, say another 45 minutes to an hour. Haha. Not so. I sat around waiting for them to deign to meet with me for over two hours. No, there weren't any people ahead of me that I could see. It just felt like the usual, unnecessary, crass dealer behavior that I certainly wasn't expecting from a dealer like Heartland. My previous buying experiences were with Toyota of Seattle, and they were both expedited quickly with no delays. That left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Hence the four stars on the dealership and the Customer Service question. I hesitated before assigning that rating since both Richard and the financial person I eventually met with were both first-rate, but the dealership needs to work on that. More
