I feel as though I was cheated at Hawk Ford of ST. Charles, I brought my vehicle in for service with a check engine light illuminated and was told that codes that were coming upon the computer were s Charles, I brought my vehicle in for service with a check engine light illuminated and was told that codes that were coming upon the computer were showing that I needed a new Catalytic converter which would cost $2,325.00! I feel that they were playing a guessing game with me and telling me that if we did a tune up for $700.00 that might fix the problem? Steve was playing a guessing game with my checkbook and trying to generate more revenue ! I have always brought my vehicles to Hawk Ford in ST. Charles for maintenance in the past. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TRUST HAWK FORD!!! More

They kept the car overnight to try and create the noisy morning issue. They analyzed the problem and provided an estimate of the repairs and only charged $ 100 for there time. Had a great experience once I arrived. The guys who helped were courteous and honest about what i should expect. Luckily I took my husband with just in case as the guy at the desk said it would be a few hours. Always make sure the schedulers are on the same page as the service team or that would have really messed up my day. More
