Oil Change Stopped in for an oil change without an appointment on a busy Saturday morning. Dinah was very welcoming and was able to get me in rite away. When I went to check out and pay she explained that since it was our first oil change after we bought the vehicle, it was on the house. Was not expecting that at all. Battery check and service I brought my explorer in for a battery check and got in right away. I was notified of a safety recall which they also took care of immediately. They w I brought my explorer in for a battery check and got in right away. I was notified of a safety recall which they also took care of immediately. They were able to give me a ride home to account for the extra time they would need the car for the recall and offered to pick me up when finished. I can’t remember the name of the mechanic and the gentleman that gave me a ride home, but every one was pleasant to deal with and they gave me a very through explanation of what was done to the car. I’m very happy with the quality of service I received. More
EDGE Key fob replacement Years ago I had a meeting with Edsel Ford about dipsticks......the result: dipsticks were modified with holes drilled to help read oil level better... Years ago I had a meeting with Edsel Ford about dipsticks......the result: dipsticks were modified with holes drilled to help read oil level better...….and I have owned lots of Ford vehicles.....starting with my '49 8N Ford Tractor and my "53 Ford Pickup...… With that background, I have to say that the $$ 385.00 key fob for our '17 EDGE is the DUMBEST thing Ford Management has ever done...…...all so I can have a key forb like a Mercedes. Go back the simple electronic key like I have in my '12 Expedition. For 70% of the cost of a Mercedes you get 95% of the value in a FORD--Be who you are---dump the Mercedes Key Fob. Rich Brennan More
