Professionalism I was experiencing an issue with the pre-collision sensor on my 2019 Ranger and drop it at Hawk Ford of St Charles for a repair. After following the s I was experiencing an issue with the pre-collision sensor on my 2019 Ranger and drop it at Hawk Ford of St Charles for a repair. After following the standard diagnostics tests and repair procedures the issue was still not fixed. Ford sent one of their field engineer to look it up but he was unable to figure out what was wrong. I was super frustrated since I was schedule to leave on a long trip and needed my truck. Finally Hawk technician was able to find the cause of the issue - the sensor was out of alignment due to a minor collision a month early. There was no visible damage to the car, not even a scratch but sure enough to affect the sensor. Steve K the service advisor at Hawk was ALWAYS ready to provide an update, and a brand new loaner car. Since the part needed to fix the issue was not available from Ford, he was able to locate the part at another dealer, expedite shipping, schedule a body shop to paint the part and get my car ready just on time. 3 days and 2000 miles later my 2019 Ranger is running perfect with all systems working as supposed to. Steve K also communicated with my insurance to make sure they have all the invoices and pictures. He NEVER raised his voice or said he was busy and have no time to talk to me. Not once even when I was rude to him over the phone b/c of my frustration with the issue. I wish all dealers employees will have the skills and professional level as Steve K. I would like to apologize to Steve K for being very inpatient and rude customer. He did all he could and even took the extra step to make sure the problem will be solver and he did an excellent job. Great experience Brought my F150 in for warranty work and for a grinding noise coming from under my truck. Hawk couldn’t replicate the noise the first day they had it Brought my F150 in for warranty work and for a grinding noise coming from under my truck.
