I got taken for a Ride ! I Purchased pre-paid maintenance when purchasing my 2017 Ford explore. At the 30,000 mile service it was recommended that I change the synthetic trans I Purchased pre-paid maintenance when purchasing my 2017 Ford explore. At the 30,000 mile service it was recommended that I change the synthetic transmission fluid. The service advisors documented at Ford covered the service. $250 cost. Upon completion it was learned that Ford would not pay for it and that I would have to go to battle with Ford care in this matter. Upon talking to Ford care and the dealerships I am now currently out of the adjusted cost of $182.50. A kind gesture considering I shouldn’t of paid for it at all. I had to pay in order to get my car back. It is been two weeks. Nobody from Ford or the dealership that I have spoken to has been able to explain why I was charged. Even speaking with the general manager at Hawk Ford in Saint Charles or the service was done said he would call me back in 30 minutes, that was two weeks ago still not heard back. When purchasing a new vehicle I recommend do not buy a prepaid maintenance from Ford. It benefits them not you. You have no control here when it comes to what goes on with your vehicle they act like they own your vehicle and do what they like regardless of what your manuals/maintenance recommendations say. My recourse here is to contact the state of Illinois Attorney General’s office, consumer fraud division and file a complaint. I hope this never happens to anyone else it’s not a pleasant experience! More

Fast lube service I have used the fast lane service since 2018 when I purchased Escape at Hawk Ford. Felt like they were trying to rip me off I dropped my 2017 F150 for an oil change, on of the service adviser called and said they had bad news for me. They asked me if I have any oil showing I dropped my 2017 F150 for an oil change, on of the service adviser called and said they had bad news for me. They asked me if I have any oil showing on the ground. I replied no. They continued to tell me that the oil pan is leaking and needs to be repaired right away. They even went as far to say that they didn't fill it with oil yet because they wanted to drop the oil pan right away and also that my rear differential was leaking. I told them no thanks and brought the truck home. Curious about their diagnosis I had it looked at by another Ford dealer. They showed me that the only oil leak is a small seepage around the oil pan flange and that there wasn't any oil that even got down to the underbody covers. They snuged the pan bolts up and cleaned the residual oil off and sent me down the road N/C. Hawk ford is the only Ford dealer that has ever mentioned anything about leaks, the truck has nearly 100,000 miles on it and small oil seepage is normal. Not at the level of how Hawk Ford described it. I will not return to Hawk Ford they refused to accept a direct mail offer for $25.00 and this. I do not want to be contacted by anyone from Hawk Ford. Please do not have them call me. More
