Remarkable customer service, unlimited vehicle selections While back in Indiana from North Caroline for my sister's birthday, my nephew (David Hancock) and brother-in-law (Jim Hancock) told me I had to go to While back in Indiana from North Caroline for my sister's birthday, my nephew (David Hancock) and brother-in-law (Jim Hancock) told me I had to go to Hare and get a new truck. Mine was only 2 years old. Under no circumstance was I going to get a new truck. I was introduced to Darrell Lee. He showed me options and opportunities to purchase a 2017 Silverado. I could not have been there for over an hour when I had already made up my mind to purchase the new Silverado. All I had to do was convince my wife in NC. A picture of the Silver Silverado and the bottom line offer was a no brainer for her. I want to personally thank Darrell for working with me and making this vehicle purchase the easiest I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. His inventory knowledge, great personality and willingness to follow-up on add on equipment, were second to none. The finance/paperwork side of the transaction has always been a pain in the past. I believe I dealt with Jon Higgins. He was truly a professional and made this process as painless as possible. All documents were prepared in advance, explained in detail, signed and out the door. Service center I have done business with Hare for the better part of 18 yrs....I have purchased 2 brand new cars and 1 used car in that time. I have always had my s I have done business with Hare for the better part of 18 yrs....I have purchased 2 brand new cars and 1 used car in that time. I have always had my service done at the shop including oil changes and tire rotations. I went to the shop on 9/11 around 10:15 am with the 2 service needs plus a couple of issues I wanted addressed....a ringing metal noise and my windshield washer not functioning. I was assured I would be out in just over a hour as I had to be at work. I also stated that I had received a coupon for the oil change/tire rotation for 54.95 at the time I checked in. Around noon I started wondering what was going on. Kelly Wiley was very helpful in trying to find out (she was not my service advisor) as I had not see the person that checked me in. I was told they were wrapping it up and would be up from shortly....after another 45 minutes I asked again and received the same message. Here is the issue I have....they tried to charge me 76.00 for the oil change and rotation...and I got estimates for the following....a leaking rear piston seal, a leaking rear differential seal(that they just serviced in May) I was informed the dipstick broke off in the tube and both needed to be replace (I was accused of breaking this myself, which is ridiculous, because (A) I dont know where this is and I never work under the hood of my car. Hare is the one that works under my hood...the gentleman that called me back on this was very rude about the whole issue. Also I was informed on this same call that the rear differential that they just serviced in May is infact NOT leaking and should not have been on my report...even though there were pictures included in my report. I bring my car to the dealership for service because I feel that GM made my car and would best understand its issues....but now have lost complete trust in Hare Chevy.....and will not be doing ANY more business with them going forward, which is a shame as my truck is now 9 years old and I was actually thinking of updating....and in fact walked your lot of new cars while I was there yesterday. It is just a shame that a long time customer is turned off by the service dept. Today I have had to pay the expense of having the dipstick and tube replace by a reputable service that will now get my business going forward. I do apologize for hanging up on the service tech that called me back but he could stand a course or 2 in customer service. Robin Robertson More

Always A Pleasure It is not always a pleasure to go the your service department, but at Hare it is! The service department employees are so professional and courteous. It is not always a pleasure to go the your service department, but at Hare it is! The service department employees are so professional and courteous. There is no pressure to get extra things done and they help you to stay in your budgeted amount. I have never been treated like a stupid woman who does not know cars. If I have a question they find the answer and they are upfront with you about the cost of repairs. It is hard enough when you go in and are told you need major work done, but somehow they make it alright. You may leave with less money in your pocket, but somehow you still have a smile on your face:) Thanks Hare Service Team Members for all you do!!! More
