Hare Chevrolet wrote on 8/10/2010 1:41:58 PM: We are sorry to hear that you have had issues with your vehicle after the purchase. We make every attempt to purchase cars that are in good working order, but some issues arise afterwards that are out of our control. For this reason we inspect all "as is" vehicles prior to sale and encourage our customers to take their vehicle to a mechanic as we did with you. Since this was an "as is" purchase it was explained up front that there was no warranty and that there was no coverage on any further issues that may occur with the vehicle. The terms stated above were agreed to by you, according to our records, in January. When you brought the vehicle in some 6 months later we informed you that new brakes were needed. At that time the Service Manager and General Sales Manager agreed to replace your brakes at no cost to you. At that time you stated you were happy with the resolution and with the service you received from our sales and service departments and would be leaving a review stating as much. Wayne is one of our best salesmen and has numerous customer reviews backing up his integrity. Since you are no longer happy with your overall experience we would appreciate it if you would contact us directly so we can address your issues just as we did with your brakes. While we are sorry that the vehicle you purchased turned out to have numerous issues, we have made every attempt to alleviate issues that have been brought to our attention and are disappointed that you wouldnt give us a chance to prove our customer service record is accurate. If there is anything else we can do for you please contact us on this forum or directly and we will have the proper department contact you. Thanks for your business, Hare Chevrolet
