I had researched the car i wanted. I thought it the hardest part was that and that the rest would be easy, I was sooo wrong, especially since the color I wanted was apparently hard to find! I went to my local Hyundai dealers, Garden Grove Hyundai, Tustin Hyundai and Hardin Hyundai. They ALL waisted my time giving me ALL kinds of hassles. I knew exactly what I wanted and I could afford and they claimed to work with me and help me but of course bottom line is that they wanted to sell me what they had in inventory and at a way higher price. They promised all kinds of extras and incentives but bottom line it was a smoke screen. I had almost given up on Hyundai's just because the dealers were so shady but I thought I would give it one last try and Harbor Hyundai, I spoke to Joshua Garcia and he said he would do everything possible to get me exactly what I wanted. I was a little skeptical given my other experiences but Joshua made it happen. He was honest, realistic, and kept me informed every step of the way. 24 hours later I was driving away in my new car (exactly how I wanted it, color and all). More

I am so glad I found this dealership online! I've been to several hyundai dealerships before I went to Harbor Hyundai and my experiences were terrible. BUT! at Harbor Hyundai, my experience was the exact opposite. Douglas Van Dyck, the internet manager replied to my request for online quote on the same day and it was the best deal I've received. When I visited in person, people greeted me right away when I walked in. Douglas was very friendly and made me feel at ease. I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone! More

I am a 22 year old college graduate looking for a car that fit my lifestyle so after about two weeks of research for the car I wanted, I narrowed down my choices to the Hyundai Elantra, Ford Focus, and H that fit my lifestyle so after about two weeks of research for the car I wanted, I narrowed down my choices to the Hyundai Elantra, Ford Focus, and Honda Civic. From these choices, I preferred the Hyundai Elantra the most and contacted 8 Hyundai dealerships in the area. From the 8 that I visited in the Orange County area, I found Harbor Hyundai to be the most honest, friendly, and provided the best service. In brief, this dealership is a one stop shop when it comes to finding and buying a Hyundai car. Let me tell you why. Service - I called ahead and spoke with Mr. Eric Hammerness. I asked for Harbor Hyundai's inventory of the Elantra and after verifying he had the color I wanted, I said I would be there within the hour. I arrived at Harbor Hyundai 30 minutes flat to see him waiting for us. From there I asked for a test drive and he was polite, professional , and he was able to answer all of my questions. Also since I am a 22 year old with only a few years of drive experience, we contacted our auto insurance company to get a quote. It was exorbitantly overpriced. Mr. Hammerness even gave us references and contacts to find the right auto insurance for us. I give him 5/5 for service. Honesty - I went to other dealerships in the area and asked if they had the car I wanted a base model 2012 Elantra and asked for the price. Specifically at Commerce Hyundai, they quoted me at $18,900 for a 2012 Elantra with a preferred package. An reasonable price, my father and I went to the dealership to see the price on the car was $23,000. This was not the limited, Commercce Hyundai added paint protection, leather seats, and an assortment of other add-ons not mentioned in the phone. After wasting my time with a lazy attempted to deal with a serious buyer, we walked away angry and dishearted we will ever find the car I wanted for the right price. Then I went to Harbor Hyundai and the dealing was straight forward. We asked for the AAA member discount and he was ready to provide the information. Then we asked to see in the invoice and, without hesitation, Mr. Hammerness provided us with the information. He was polite and straightforward during the entire dealing process, making the experience hassle-free and actually enjoyable. 5/5 for honesty. Friendliness- They are a friendly dealership with a good sense of humor. When we were signing our paperwork, Rick was funny, lighthearted and made the experience fun. All in all, they are, in my opinion, the best Hyundai dealer in the OC area. Before you go to any dealership, no matter 50-100 miles away, check this place out. It is worth your time and effort. But to be frank, they do ask one thing in return for all the service and effort they provide - an online review. And let me say, it was a pleasure and THANK YOU! :D More
