This is my 8th new cars I bought in last 35 years. I always came with a degree of dissatisfaction on my purchases except this time with Harbor Hyundai. I hate salesmen questioning me about my finance instead of trying to find me a dream car. I guess it was dealers' gimmick to confuse customer so that they can sell their cars for more. I really appreciated Frank Leon salesmanship because he worked with me from the start to finish. I requested an internet price quote in September for 2013 Elantra GT and he responded quickly. I told him what I was looking for and what price range I was really wanted to pay. He did not laugh at my incredible demand like the manager in Costa Mesa Toyota in 2010. Instead he stayed in touch with me and gave me update what the market willing to sale for. I did not expect that he would sell me the price I wanted because I was not planning to make my purchase until December. He went ahead to talk to his sales manager and got OK to make a deal I wanted without any restriction. I did price check through dozen Hyundai dealers, Costco auto program and Consumer Report price quote, and I believed that I got the best deal from Harbor Hyundai. Moreover, Frank Leon impressed me that he never ask me to go down to test drive my car before I could negotiate the price or price only good for “NOW” type of pressure. Also, our final deal was totally on the phone without time restriction. Finally, I decide to get myself a new car for Halloween gift instead of a Christmas gift like what I did in 1984!!! Frank Leon found my dream car within a week because I wanted a silver color Elantra GT. I went down to the dealership with a pre-approval loan from my credit union. I bought my buddy with me because it was my first time to deal with Harbor Hyundai. Frank Leon showed me my car and I tested drive my car around the blocks. I went to Frank’s office and finished my car purchase. He even offered to beat my credit union low interest rate. Before I signed my purchase contract, he explained the car manual and all the warranty papers. Financial manager was nice and the paper works went smoothly. When I finalized my purchase, Frank went out to the lot and programmed my cell phone with the Bluetooth on my new Elantra GT. He patiently went through all the features on my new car before he let me out of their car lot. I understood that I was not buying a Mercedes but he gave me excellent customer service that was not really provided in most dealerships in nowadays. This is the first time I am completely satisfied on my new car purchase and I may go back for more in the future. I talked to my friends and coworkers and ask them to talk to me first for new car purchase because I want to reward Frank Leon more business for his excellent salesmanship and customer service. From other reviews, service department also provide excellent service and I am looking forward to see them when my Elantra GT hit 1k mark. I will update what I find in the future. My friend told me about the Hyundai Sonata and I did a search on edmunds.com. I liked the reviews about the Sonata pricing and the fact that Hyundai offered lots of standard and optional feature. I was also impressed with lengthy warranty and safety record. I reviewed dealerships in my area and there were some closer to my home, but Harbor Hyundai had the best reviews. The reviews were right! I went online and requested a price quote and received it the next day from Leonard Fischer. I called him and set up a time to meet. The moment my wife and I walked into Harbor Hyundai we were welcomed and dealt with in a very professional. Leonard was very helpful, answered all my questions, and provided good information. After the test drive, and a little bargaining (with Leonard, and my wife), the sale was made. AND WE LOVE THE CAR. Thank you Leonard! More

My car buying experience with Harbor Hyundai was a painless process. I started my research about a month before I actually bought my car with help and information from several members of the internet painless process. When I decided to finally buy my car, I made an appointment but couldn't make it on time in the end, but they were able to accomodate me right away. Junior Baker greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, and went to find the salesman I had been working with from my online quote. I ended up working with Junior afterall and the whole experience was positive. I was originally looking at the 2013 Hyundai Elantra but decided I would prefer a used model instead to get a lower price. I had found a 2011 model on the Harbor Hyundai website and Junior took me right to it and we test drove. He was very thorough and told me about all the features and warranty details while we drove. He was also very knowledgable-anytime I had a question, he had the answer! They worked with me on the price and I feel like I got a great deal. The only issue I had with the car was that one of the door handles had scuffed paint, and they agreed to do a paint touch up at no extra cost to me. They are also giving me new floor mats and making me a spare key at no charge. I was expecting them to try to upsell me to the 2013 model but I didn't feel any pressure at all. I really felt like Junior was trying to find the best fit for me and he helped me get exactly was I was looking for. I worked on financing with Eric & he was very thorough and explained everything I was signing. While I was working on the paperwork, Junior had the car exterior cleaned up and removed the plastic on the floor for me. After I was finished with paperwork, Junior walked me through the car again and explained what every button was for and how everything worked, which I really appreciated because I wouldn't have known what half of that was! Overall, Junior was amazing to work with-very thorough and personable, I didn't feel pressured at all, and he stuck with me the whole time I was there. I definitely left as a happy customer and will recommend them to anyone looking for a new car! More
