As it turned out Doug did pick me up at METRO Blue Line station near the dealership. - Doug Van Dyck found an error on a line on the contract and promptly corrected it which saved me $1000.00. - Having worked over 13 hours the day he sold me my '13 Sonata, Doug, in no way, hurried me along. HORRIBLE, HORRENDOUS, and TERIIBLE customer SALES experience ever! Don't fall for their great reviews just like I did! I was a $20000 customer who was desperate to buy the car and did even beg to them at the end but they still refused the sale after wasting 6 hrs. of mine! Plz also note that it was a very slow day and I was the second customer only who was trying to buy the car at the spot from them! If you are one of those SHEEPs who will BLINDFOLDEDLY sign any paper without looking, reading, or asking question if there is any suspicious, or will pay anything that will be told to you in the name of unknown fees, then this dealer is for sure for you! Otherwise just run away from them as fast as you can! This dealer will want you to just sign any paper and pay any fees that they will tell you to do so without asking them anything about it. Not even a basic question like, how was it calculated, what they are for, and/or give a breakdown of the total etc. If you ask anything about the calculations, the mindless child working here will not only get mad at you, but will insult, humiliate, waste time, & at the end will tell you to just go somewhere else! Trust me people. My review is honest, true, and exactly how it has happened. Based upon my experience, I would not recommend this dealer to anyone even to my enemies! This dealer is run by the childish, mindless manager name, DAN NATHAN. Even my 8 month old daughter has more patience and mind than this weird and pissy guy! Beside him, JAMES/JIM KRAFT and FRANK LEON are just other jokes who work here and claim that customer service is their priority! I started to deal with this dealer through email with FRANK LEON. Guy turn out to be a total waste of my time. He will not fully respond to my simple questions. His answer, most of the time, will always be incomplete, partial, inaccurate, and incorrect. After going back & forth for so many times for a simple things, because of him, he told me that I can go somewhere else! Yes people, in this poor & slow economy they have an audacity to tell customers to go away! This just tells you right away on how much they care about the customers! This is even before the sales! Now think on how they will treat you if you come up with any legit problem later after the sales! Giving benefit of the doubt, I decided to give them another chance with a different sales person and this time to try over the phone instead. JAMES KRAFT is the man who helped me on the phone. Everything went smoothly and I made my mind to finally buy it from him. I went to the dealer next day. Again, I was a serious buyer who just wanted to get over this thing for my sister. My sister, mom, & my 8 month old daughter were with me also. After agreeing to color and other stuff, I was called in by Jim. He started to tell me on how his mindless manager, DAN NATHAN, is concerned about my integrity because he happened to pull my previous email chain. Jim also told me that how I have made a huge deal out of a simple thing! I was shocked & amazed by Jim's & his manager's attitude! I told him that why I would be coming in person with my sis & mom if I am not a serious buyer? Also, why they are looking at my email chain which has nothing to do with the current transaction with him specially? Also, why they are taking word out of context from my email and accusing me instead of not reading the email from bottom up to actually see that it was there sales person, FRANK LEON, who made it so difficult for me! Anyways, then he told me that he has some rules which I have to obey if I want to move forward otherwise they have to stop right there. The stupid and idiotic rules were to do test drive of the car that we even didn’t want to do it because it was not the correct car that we were going to buy, run credit history, settle with the amount, pay 500 deposit, & then test drive the actual car 1 more time. Readers, please keep in mind that the actual car was not even in their lot or in front of me but they still wanted me to forcefully drive different car, run credit, and pay 500 deposits! JIM also told me that they will run my credit history even if I were to pay cash for my car regardless! I said why running my credit if I am paying with the cash but they had no prominent answers! Can you believe this? Well, you better because that is exactly what happened and was told! Since I was desperate for my sister to get a car, I agreed to all of their unreasonable, forced, & coerced rules. After the test drive, I was shown a paper that had total amounts from different categories listed. Again, paper had total amount listed and not a breakdown of the amounts. I immediately asked about the tax calculation because it was not matching up with my calculation. First, I was given crappy reason. Then unwillingly JIM went back to check with his manager. Then I questioned 247.57 in the name of Govt. Fees. I asked JIM on how this amount has been calculated, and that I need to see a breakdown of it. What did I ask wrong here in your opinion? Did I ask something illegal? I don't think so. It was a simple, basic, & legal question that I asked. It is my and everyone's legal right to question any fee or tax if it doesn't make any sense. At this point, JIM furiously stood up and loudly told me in front of my mom & sis that his mindless manager will freak out because of me and will not a make a deal and started to walk away from me. I was controlling my patience all this time but at this time I told him clearly on why they are getting mad at me for my legal and rightful questions! He then told me that why I am making a deal of the numbers which automatically populates by the computer & basically there is no way in the world that it can be wrong! How ridiculous is that! They meant to say that if computer puts 1000 in the name of whatever fee then I should just be quiet & pay it because computer is always right! Wow! Just Wow! Jim then came back & told me to come to his manager's office. I sat down with this ridiculous mindless and impatient childish guy, DAN NATHAN. He then started to yell at me with finger pointing on how I have made a big deal for simple things & made it a real challenge for him to do the business. Also, how I have involved each and every one of his employees, how I have question their integrity blah...blah...blah just falsely and inaccurately accusing me through out. I was also keep interrupting by him whenever I tried to say or answer something. Now just to be clear, it was them first who questioned my integrity by coming up with those forceful rules and it was alright for them, but when I started to question their integrity then all of a sudden it becomes a huge deal for them! I told him clearly that I will question anything even if it is .25 cents issue if it doesn't make any sense. He gave me sarcastic, mean, & rude look through out. At the end, I realized that arguing with this mindless guy will be useless and told him to not even worry about showing me the breakdown of the calculation anymore! Why these people got so mad if I ask them to show the breakdown of the total amount? Were they hiding something? May be they were pocketing extra money that obviously didn't work with me! I then asked him to show me the total amount paper again and guess what he did? He threw the paper at me, basically on my face and storm out of the room by saying he is not sure about the business anymore! Yes guys & gals; it is the main manager Mr. DAN NATHAN who will treat his customer like this if you ask him legal and legit questions! Then he was keep sending different people to tell me that the deal is over and I can just leave! At this point, my sales person, JIM KRAFT, told me that he is really concern about his online review! Really? Are you kidding me? You are telling the customer to leave, on asking legit and legal question, and you are worried about your review? What would you expect? I told him that it all depends upon the next step. Right away, he stood up & told me to leave because he wanted me to say that I will give him good review! Yes guys & gals; that is how the mentality of the people working here! What's so funny to me is that he was really concerned about his review & still told me bascally to just get out thinking that this will probably give him a better review! What a joke! Anyways, looking at my tired & desperate sister, mom, 8 month old daughter, & 6 hours of time wasting, I decided to put my guards down & took the initiative to talk to the manager to convince him to move forward and make a deal. I begged him for almost 15 mins & the whole time he was rude, mean, unpleasant, making fun of me, & even told me that now I want to make a business when everything is over! Yes people, he said that. Trust me! I then left empty handed after 6 hours with my mom, sis, and 8 month old baby disappointed with heart shattered on how this people are in business and are running it? Just amazing to see this what so called managers and staff who works at the dealers with have no respect, courtesy, or friendliness even for a brand new first time customer like me! I know this review was huge but I just wanted to share everything with you all honestly and truly. A word of advice to all you readers; First of all, do rigorous and extensive search regarding price and never feel pity or believe these dealers on whatever they say or claim. Secondly, always READ before you sign any paper - especially at the dealer. Also, always questioned each and every charge that doesn't make any sense or doesn't add up per your calculation. Don't be shy, afraid or scared! No question is a stupid or dumb question. It is your LEGAL RIGHT to ask and after all you are paying for it and not them! This dealer may have something to hide behind all that unknown fees and that is why they probably snapped on me. Think like this; once you signed and pay the fees, dealer will not even recognize you next day or will give you awfully hard time even if it is their mistake. And if you will go to the court then they will use your signed paper as a legal document to proof you wrong and you will not be able to do anything about it since you are the one who agreed and signed it! Approx. 2 weeks prior to my visit to Harbor Hyundai to purchase my new Santa Fe Sport my girlfriend had purchased a 2012 (used) Sonata through Ken Bundy who gave us excellent attention and service. Having received such service, I naturally called on Ken when searching for my new vehicle. Ken showed excellent product knowledge and, again, was professional, attentive, most respectful and pleasant to deal with. After reaching a decision to pursue the purchase of a Santa Fe I needed to determine model, options and color. I called Ken with the time I could visit and, while he was not working that specific evening, he arranged to have me see another salesman, Diego Bonilla. Diego displayed many of the same qualities of professionalism etc. as Ken Bundy in showing and demonstrating the models and colors available. I eventually decided on the vehicle I wanted and while the specific color was not immediately available (and appeared in short supply throughout Southern California) Ken immediately set to work to find the exact specifications I wanted. After about a week he was successful and we were able to finalize a deal which included the trade of my Lexus. While one would always like to minimize financial outlays of any sort, I was quite satisfied with the eventual deal and extremely satisfied with the courteous and professional attention I received throughout this experience. I would happily recommend Harbor Hyundai to anyone interested in a vehicle purchase. More

He is very knowledgeable . The dealship itself is very comfortable with all of the amenities including a flatscreen t.v. and comfortable seating.
