Great experience until I got to financing Found a used car for sale at Harbor Chevrolet through Autotrader.com. Sent a message and received a reply from Dave Persaud. I set up an appointment a Found a used car for sale at Harbor Chevrolet through Autotrader.com. Sent a message and received a reply from Dave Persaud. I set up an appointment at night to do the test drive. After the test drive, since it was late, Dave and I agreed that I would come back that weekend. Not once did I feel pressured nor did I get the pitch, "get it before someone else does". I went back that Saturday and looked the car over some more. I told Dave that I wanted to make sure I was going to be happy with my purchase. He was very patient and did not pressure me at all, which made me want to buy the car from him even more. Eventually, I agreed to purchase the car and Dave proceeded to put a "sold" sign on the car and park it out back. I asked if I could leave the car there for a week since I needed to clean my garage to make room for it and I was leaving for a business trip the next day and would be gone for a few days. Everything had gone so well, until I got to financing. Dave said he was just going to park the car in the back and he'll be right back. As I was waiting, the finance person came in and said that I needed to follow her and take care of the paperwork. I explained that Dave was parking the car and had told me to wait at his desk. She said she knows and to follow her, so I did. Customarily, the salesperson would walk the buyer to the finance person and make the introduction. As she went over the paperwork, she would rattle off what I the paperwork was and point where I needed to sign. Well, I'm not one to just sign without reading, so I took my time to read the paperwork. She faced me the whole time and could feel her breathing down on me, making me feel rushed. I felt rushed because she was rushing through the process and seemed annoyed that I was taking my time reading and making her wait. She didn't have to breathe down on me as I read. I seriously doubt there was a line behind me waiting to do the paperwork since I seemed like the only person customer inside that building. Not only was she rushing, she sure didn't have that same friendly demeanor that Dave had. When I would ask her to clarify a few things on the paperwork, she seemed annoyed. It was more like, "Let's-get-this-done-and-over-with-cause-I-want-to-go-home" attitude. By the time I got done with the paperwork, I went from happy to annoyed. When Dave walked me out, I'm sure he could sense the change in my attitude. The four star rating for all areas are for Dave. The missing star from all ratings is because of that finance person. I wanted to do 3 stars, but that might have reflected on Dave and wouldn't have been fair to him. Sorry Dave, you deserve five stars. For anyone reading this, ask for Dave Persaud to be your sales guy and avoid that female finance person. More
